Book Direct and Save
Save on service fees by booking direct on Houfy.
This lovely 3-bedroom ensuite apartment is on the lower 2 floors of a south-facing chalet and has superb views across Morzine centre to the Pleney and Nyon mountains directly in front. It is located in the same building as Chalet Hibou and next door to Apartment Chantal, so it’s perfect if there is a group that want to book together (up to 16 people across two properties) or two groups who want to be close by each other. Entrance is down a full staircase from the main road, and in through a small porch which doubles as boiler room so you can leave gloves, coats and hats to keep warm. There's a WC off the porch. Through into the main bright living area you have a dining table in front of you with modern kitchen, and a separate relaxing lounge room with TV. This area opens out onto the wide balcony which is ideal for al fresco meals on sunny days.
Half a floor down there is a large twin bedroom (please note that there is no window but the room is very large) with a mezzanine sleeping area with low headroom that is suitable for up to two children or teenagers. This bedroom has an adjoining shower room / WC.
Half a floor down again, there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, and a twin bedroom with private shower and WC, both with the lovely front view.
The apartment is centrally heated with an oil-fired boiler.
The apartment has only 1 free parking space – if you arrive with 2 cars you will need to park one on the lower road (Route du Palais des Sports) or in the underground car park (for a daily fee). There’s a ski locker on the balcony next to the front door. If you bring bikes you will need to chain them onto the balcony (please note this is out of view of anyone from the roadside).

Meet the Host

Hi! I'm British born but have now been living more of my life in France than in the UK, and this is now my home. I've been running Mountain Highs Self-Catered Chalets and Apartments in Morzine since 1995 and I live in a little village just 5 mins down the valley from Morzine, with my 2 daughters, our border collie Sydney and our cats Tina and Asha.
I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and trekking, road biking and lake swimming in the summer, and reading and music whenever I get the time ;) I also love to travel and get to know new places...wish there was just more time to get to all the places I haven't been to yet!
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are a wonderful place to choose for a holiday and I feel I am very lucky to live here all year round. I am very keen for everyone who stays in our properties to have a great holiday and I personally spend a lot of time communicating with each and every Mountain Highs client. Don't hesitate to ask me if you'd like information that you don't see in my listings. I speak French, English and Italian, and can just about communicate in Spanish too, have patience!

A damage Deposit of €300 is taken on your arrival (this rises to €500 for guests bringing mountain bikes). This is held until your departure as a caution against damage or breakages. In the winter season (13 Dec - 16 April) the cleaning is included in the price: the rest of the year there is an €90 end of stay cleaning charge - this goes directly to the cleaning team.
Once your booking is confirmed by Airbnb, I require that you complete a booking form, which will be sent to you by email as a link within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed (once you have responded to my confirmation message with your email address). French short-term rental legislation requires that registered accommodation providers keep a record of all names of renters with their contact information. Failure to provide your email address or complete a booking form can result in cancellation of your booking.
No smoking. No parties or events.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Winter ski season (Dec 13 - April 16): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included.
The Rest of the year: (April 16 - Dec 13): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €90.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: We take a €300 Damage Deposit on arrival, either in Euros or Sterling cash, or in a UK or Euro cheque. We refund this deposit on your departure as long as we are able to check the chalet properly on your departure. If this is not possible (if you are leaving very early or very late) we will withhold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to check the property, and we will then return it to you by bank transfer. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for Mountain Biking groups.
