Sunset Farm is a historic home located in the picturesque Eastern Townships, home of endless cycling trails, clear lakes and countless winter activities. The home sits on 300 acres of private property overlooking a valley and mountains in the background. It is a mile away from a quaint village and only 10 miles from a major city.
Our home was built circa 1840, and 2022 marks the 50th year in our family. We’ve been renovating it over the past two years and, although it is a continuous work in progress, we’re so happy to be able to share it with guests who enjoy country living as much as we do.

The home has ample room for large families and groups while maintaining an intimate cozy feel. Plenty of outdoor space and miles of trails to explore on the 300 acres of property.

“Amazing place in Coaticook”
We stayed for two days at this amazing farm house and my family loved it. We were a group of 10 and had no trouble fitting everyone. The place is super charming and had that old school feel while still being modern. There is a lot of land for kids to play.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay to accommodate a big group. I dealt with Tia and she was highly responsive to any questions we had.

This Victorian mansion is being lovingly refurbished. The kitchen is well equipped to deal with a large party (6-8 adults). Everything was very clean. There's a new bathroom downstairs and 5 good-sized bedrooms upstairs (with a bathroom upstairs as well). The beds were comfortable and the rooms had ceiling fans and floor fans where necessary. Two living rooms downstairs made it possible for members of our party to have separate spaces and do different activities. We had asked for an early afternoon check-in, but it was not possible this time around, and check-in was at 4 pm. While we had planned to hike the trails on the property, it took a fairly long walk along the edge of crop fields to reach the woods. Instead, we explored the surrounding area, which is beautifully agricultural, with magnificent vistas and rolling hills. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would return.

Fabulous! This place is not to be compared to a hotel, nor a resort. It is a farm house and I've seen many things like it but nothing felt like it. also the host was formidable with answers and immediacies. Overall I wish everyone with a taste and feelings to get to experience something like that. we have dealt with Tia, I have not met Dan, but we could transitively feel his sense of humor and the overall desire that they truly want you to have great time.

This is a 200 year old farmhouse and therefore in constant need of updating and repairs. We try to do these "off-season" as much as possible however there are times when certain rooms will be under construction. We will always advise you in advance and ensure it does not interfere with your stay.

Please pick up after your pets and out of courtesy to other renters do not allow them on furniture without covering it first with a blanket. There will be an additional $75 cleaning fee for guests with pets.
