The Sunny Room is located on the first floor having a lot to offer for the dollar value. Originally a Sun Room converted into a private bedroom. It has large windows, a single bed, desk, chair, closet, etc.
Bathroom is shared when we have guests.
Half price for each additional guest.
Not suitable for children under the age of 12.
1 free parking space included.
Additional fee for laundry ($10 per load - includes washer, dryer, laundry detergent, etc.).
Smoking is allowed outside only.
Full kitchen included except stove and oven.

Other Things To Note:
At Check-In, we would like to see Photo ID, Driver’s License and/or Passport.

Self Check-In is available in the event that myself, Eva, and my Co-Hosts, Christopher and Matthew, cannot receive guests.

AC is provided June 1st - September 1st.

This listing didn't work out for me upon seeing this room and property in person. The major concern was a policy of not locking the sliding door until after midnight. The windows in the bedroom are waist level to the ground, very old, and do not feel sturdy. Water damaged wood is taped together with masking tape around the window A/C unit in the bedroom. The bedroom door lock on the inside of the bedroom is a 2 1/2" sliding cylinder with a diameter less than a pencil. The last two AirBnB rooms had a lock in the doorknob and a key locking it from outside and the other listing had a keypad entry into bedroom which could then be locked in the doorknob from inside the room. Both of those options allow one to feel that a standard for safety and security is being set and maintained for the AirBnB community. I love very affordable accommodations and especially wanted to support a woman run (with son's co-hosting) business. Attending to the issues here will allow them to continue to do so.

Eva is one of the best hosts you will ever have. She even cooked me food multiple times which was incredible. She is accommodating, caring and truly great to be around…. With that being said I would come back in a heart beat and highly highly recommended for you to stay here! To add it’s also a great location being so close to the center of town!

I cannot recommend Eva's place enough! It was such a great stay, I had everything I needed and more. The place is very inviting and cozy! Eva is such a wonderful host, always trying to make sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need, she recommends local places to try and gave me directions on how to easily walk to the North White Plains station from her place. I would definitely stay here again!

Room was cozy. Recommended you bring yr own bath towels & coffee maker. No stove or oven use. No cooking allowed what so ever. No television in bdrm, living room or (anywhere) for that matter. Bring your own sponge for your dishes. All in all a relatively comfortable space. Eva is a kind person. My 1st day was spent in complete darkness. I explained unfamiliar with the space and needed light. She was kind enough to put night lights in Bathrm & kitchen 2days later so that was very helpful. She visited me twice in the 20 days I spent there for my training and school in local area. She was very quick to answer my calls and did her best to make sure I had what I needed. I would recommend her place. She is a pleasant host

This place was cute but it was weird that the host came by and entered unannounced multiple times a day even at night. We felt uncomfortable and unsafe at times since we are strangers but it seems that is just the personality of the host who was very personable. The place is shared by roommates and we weren’t given a key to the house so couldn’t lock our stuff up when we left. It was fine overall but I can’t ignore the obvious safety concerns and weird vibe.

STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT get yourself into TROUBLE by selecting this host! She is big liar, disrespectful and RACIST! She lied almost about everything! In her profile she mention that she lives there with her family!!! Big lie! She live in a different place close by and come and checks on the property! Two permanent tenant (single guys) live upstairs and down stairs, never mentioned in profile. She placed me in a dark and small room which was not shown on her profile! The bathroom was dirty and taps need fixation! The WORST PART, she gave access to many young drunk guys on Saturday night of my staying ate her place, to through a party!!! without informing me and all of the sudden, while I was the only guest at huge house, I found there are probably 8-12 guys at home, putting loud music and being noisy and drunk!!! So SCARY! I called her, text her and call her again, she did not respond! I was so scared to the point that I left her place and ran to HOTEL! She called later and once I asked why she do that she blamed my culture and she called me and my people name! She called my people scary people and she called me a Paranoid person to be scared of having 10-12 drunk strangers at home without a proper notice! She was so rude to my nationality of origin and my people! The next day she apologized and promised to give me full refund, due to putting me in that scary situation just so convince me not write her bad review , but once I requested for refund some days later, she did not approve and said I have the option to refuse! ! She did not refund a penny even though I did not stay in her place for the complete days I booked and paid and have to stay in hotel! She is a big liar, I do not know how she does get those good reviews and those reviews made me full! She is the cause of all the inconvenience I had, all the money I spent on the hotel and all the stress I went through and yet she did not try to compensate for anything. Do not trust her words, the pictures she posts and the lies about living in the property with her family!

I am originally from Perú and have been hosting guests since 2011.

I work with my sons (Co-Hosts), Christopher and Matthew, to provide the finest hospitality for all guests.

We currently have three locations available with only a 1/2 an hour train ride to NYC.

OTHER HOUSE RULES:

➢ All grooming, make-up, manicures, etc. need to be done in your room or the bathroom only

➢ Please remove personal body hair from the bathtub or shower after each use

➢ The bathtub, shower, sink, etc. need to be kept clean after each use

➢ Only toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. Anything else will clog and damage the plumbing

➢ Lights, heat, and air conditioners need to be turned off when not in use

➢ Windows need to be kept closed when air conditioners or heat are in use

➢ Food and drinks are not allowed in the bedrooms. Please, eat and drink in the kitchen or dining area only

➢ Full kitchen is included, except stove and oven

➢ Light cooking only is permitted (Please no heavy cooking)

➢ Please do not leave dishes in the sink. Wash, dry, and put them away immediately
