The property is conveniently situated on a quiet hillside close to the center of town, the ferry port and the train station, and enjoys incredible views of both the lake and Gulf of Laveno. Large picture windows feature throughout the apartment, filling the rooms with natural light and a pretty balcony is accessible from the living room - the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or soak up the sun.

Location:

The picturesque town of Laveno Mombello is located on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. Its crystal-clear waters and Alpine landscape provide a breathtaking backdrop for outdoor activities including boating, sailing, windsurfing, horse-riding, golf, tennis and hiking.

Both the water sports club of Ispra and Golf Luvinate Varese can be reached in just over 20 minutes whilst Reno’s Lake Beach is an 8-minute drive away.

The frequent car/passenger ferry service to the Piedmontese shore of the lake, is a short walk from the property. From here visitors can explore Verbania (for fine dining and historical sites), Intra (to access Stresa and the Borromean Island boat tours) and Pallanza (to explore the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto). All ferry stops take around 20 minutes.

Other popular excursions include visits to Rocca di Angera castle (a 30-minute drive away), the botanical gardens of Villa Intragnola (a 7-minute drive away) or the famous Santa Caterina del Sasso hermitage (a 12-minute drive).

The towns waterfront promenade (a 7-minute walk) is a great place to take in the views and enjoy the local cafes and restaurants.
