Cedar River and into town. So park your car and leave the transportation to us. Enjoy breakfast at the Lake View Hotel, just steps away. Then spend the day on the slopes or tubing with the kids at the Summit! Then finally stretch out on a California King Size bed, to put your feet up and relax.

Great stay! Kat and Skip are awesome. The condo is super close to the lake and downtown. It was nice a quiet and had everything we needed. Comfortable place to stay after kayaking all day! There’s a balcony with a beautiful view of tree and lake bellaire in the distance. For nature lovers this location is close to grass river natural area, the glacial hills trails, and the lower chain of lakes!

My husband and I were looking for a getaway this past weekend and our stay here was absolutely perfect. Close enough to all the great "up north" locations we wanted to visit - especially Headlands International Dark Sky Park and Mackinaw City. We had a wonderful weekend with our two pooches with this studio as our home base. Thank you for having us!

Kat and Skip were gracious hosts. Their place was perfect for our weekend trip! It was really great to have a centrally located spot with so many beautiful areas to explore. Being able to bring our well behaved golden retriever was a really big plus. The sunset view really made the trip. We’re already planning our visit next year!

We loved the location. The condo had everything we needed. We had a slight issue the first evening and Skip was very responsive and addressed our needs in a timely fashion. Would recommend and would stay again.

Very nice location, within walking distance to the main hotel and restaurants. Also close to shuttle stop. Could use a little updating but clean and perfect for my huband and I and the dog. Beautiful sunset view from the balcony.

Kat and Skip have nice little place with a deck that we watched the sunset. Everything was clean, easy check in and felt very safe. Was with my daughter she was excited that Shorts brewing was in town. Kat and Skip left directions to 3 pools and a beach area. We went to check each one out and chose the beach. Two of the pools you had to walk through the clubhouse to get them. We didn’t feel comfortable with that. Turtle Creek Casino was a 30 minute drive and Torch Lake was about 20 minutes.

The location was great and access to the surrounding pool was nice for 2 kids on a hot July day. The sunsets from the deck were beautiful! It was a bit small with a 9 yr old and 6 year, so the 6 year old had to sleep with mom and dad in the King bed. Not terrible just thought the futon was bigger for both kids to sleep on. Unfortunaly we had noisy neighbors (running around) above us with little kids and had a neighbor right next to us that we could hear as well. So if you are looking to put kids to bed before 9pm on a summer night, it might be a little louder than expected. Nothing we couldn't handle but walls were a little thin. We really enjoyed going into Bellaire and everything was super close so that was a bonus. We would come back, but without kids. ;) Overall, it was a great option to not have to deal with a hotel and crazy holiday prices.

This was my first Airbnb stay. This was a last minute booking and I was nervous to say the least. But it was a wonderful stay. Very clean and serene. We were able to bring the dog and the corner room made it easy to take him out. I had a concern that I communicated with Kat and Skip at the beginning, and they were very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay again.

This is our second time at one of Kat and Skip’s properties. It was a perfect location and size for the two of us and our dog. It’s conveniently located to Shanty Creek amenities and only a few minutes away to downtown Bellaire and several hiking trails.

We are a NW Michigan couple who love to ski, hike, golf and fish. When we are lucky enough to get away from Traverse City, we try to spend our time at Shanty Creek, in Bellaire, MI. When we can't be there, we we want someone else to enjoy our condos. That's where our guests come in. We aren't trying to get rich. We just want some help with the maintenance cost, without the headaches of a timeshare. We are also dog friendly and often bring our four legged furry friends with us. See you at the Lake View!
