Sugar Bear Chalet is located in Chalet Village with access to three clubhouses, outdoor pools, and two tennis courts.

Our pet-friendly 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom chalet has a private hot tub, game room w/ arcade, and pool table. It is just 2 mins from Ober Mountain ski resort and a short 3-mile drive to downtown Gatlinburg, this is the ideal home base for your adventure!

You can reach us via Airbnb messaging from 9am - 6pm EST everyday, and we always do our best to monitor our messages after hours. Please note, this is a house and not a hotel - there is no on site or after hours maintenance or staff. In the case of an emergency you should always call emergency services.

Access the area amenities with a short drive down the mountain OR park at Ober and take the tram into downtown Gatlinburg.

We want you and all of our future guests to have a great experience! To ensure everyones continued enjoyment, please abide by the house rules.

- All guests must be 25+ (children with parents are allowed)
- 10 person max
- 2 dog max (w/ pet fee)
- 4 vehicle max
- No parties/events
- Quiet hours are 10pm-8am
- No smoking or vaping on the property
- Absolutely no fires inside or out (including candles)

If a house rule is broken you may be asked to leave and/or charged a fee of $100 plus damages

Things to Note:

- You will likely see and hear critters!
- Bears are dangerous and should not be approached if seen - this cabin is in a wooded area, and bears may approach the property if given an opportunity. Please exercise caution and good judgement and do not leave unsecured food, etc outdoors!
- While our property is professionally cleaned between every stay, this is a dog friendly property and there may be dog hair/dander present - it is simply inevitable with an HVAC system. If someone in your party is allergic to dogs this property will not be a good fit for you.
- We do not offer late check out or early check in
- We provide a start of toilet paper and paper towels. You may need to buy more.
- Shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal and firewood are not provided
- There is a security camera on the front porch that records the front door/walkway

Please note: you are renting a house and there is no on site maintenance or staff.

We do not offer refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god/other things that are beyond our control - we recommend purchasing travel insurance.

While snow is rare in the Smokies, it is possible that you may need 4WD in the winter.
