Stunning sunsets on The Bay! - Jamaica Beach

With stunning views and the best amenities on the island you will reach tranquility the moment you step through the door. Your stay includes access to the best concierge on the island, golf cart, and various indoor/outdoor games. Our goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed and full of memories. Access to the beach club and pools requires a $25/per person fee for the duration of your stay. Kids 4 and under are free. This fee is paid directly to the club, separate from your reservation.
The Home

Tranquil Turtle consists of 4,000 square feet with an additional 2,500 square feet of decking. Almost every room and deck features spectacular views of the Bay and Wetlands allowing you to soak in the atmosphere from anywhere. The deck’s mosquito misting system sprays three times a daily allowing you to truly enjoy the expansive outdoor living spaces.



The large kitchen is equipped for the chef of the group. It opens to the spacious living room dining area allowing everyone to spend time together after a fun day at the beach, pool or fishing. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils (along with necessities such as spices, condiments and oils) so that grocery runs are limited. Coffee area includes a stocked Kuerig and drip machine and French press. The deck is setup with a gas grill and utensils for serving up some tasty Texas surf and turf!



The first floor holds the main gathering spaces, master king suite, cabana/guest king suite, and a light and airy secondary bedroom. The living room invites everyone throughout the house to come and go at their leisure. It connects to the rear deck which extends throughout the floor and includes speakers, gathering spaces, a grill and dining table, and amazing views.



The decks all feature breathtaking views of the bay, and are setup to allow group gatherings or solitude. The main deck features three separate living areas. The first is a sofa sectional surrounding an outdoor wood burning fireplace over which hangs a tv perfect for sports viewing! The others are for grilling/eating and socializing. Soak in the spectacular bay sunsets while enjoying an evening refreshment or while you are grilling.



2nd Floor

The second-floor functions as a separate living area with 3 bedrooms. A queen bedroom and bunk room (4 twin beds) are connected by a jack-and-jill bathroom. A queen bedroom at the top of the stairs also has a twin trundle bed and 75" TV. A full bathroom is adjacent to this bedroom as well as direct deck access.



Take the telescope (with cell phone app for easy discovery) out to the sun deck for star gazing on clear Texas nights. An assortment of kids toys can also be found in the metal bins in the hallway.



Truly a spectacular home designed for entertaining and with a crescent-shaped floor plan and enormous picture windows in every room ensuring that each room has an incredible view of the water!



Pointe West Beach Club

The home includes access to the Pointe West Beach Club, which includes pools and hot tubs over two locations, a lazy river, wonderful restaurant, bar, and game room. Access to the beach club is $15 per person (for your entire visit), wristband and door codes provided when you check in to the Beach Club. The resort features the widest, most beautiful beaches in Galveston as well as the beach club swimming pools and hot tub facing the beach, a fitness center, game room, corn hole and gift shop. A basketball court is a short walk or quick golf card ride past the beach club. A short ride to the bay side allows you to visit another pool, lazy river and hot tub.



Please be aware that we do allow guests to bring dogs (2 or less of any size) and we have dogs of our own that occasionally come to the home so if you have severe pet allergies please take note.

Wildlife Warnings – Tranquil Turtle is located in one of the most beautiful and natural settings in Texas. This nature includes bugs and insects big and small, animals, crabs, sharks, bees, rattlesnakes and more. We have pest control and set rattlesnake traps on the perimeter of the property. Occasionally, however, nature will enter the Tranquil Turtle and should not be cause for alarm. If you have any issue with pests, please contact us immediately.
