Spacious beach condo, close to Disney & Universal - Daytona Beach Shores

Quiet hours are enforced from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. There are some full-time residents at Sanibel who are not on vacation, and many guests with young children, so please be courteous to others. Local authorities will likely get called for persistent noise or disturbance after 11 p.m. Do not leave trash or food around the pool, in the club room, or in other common areas. This is not a hotel, so please pick up after yourselves. Building staff may need to enter the unit during your stay to perform scheduled maintenance (I will give you advance notice), or to respond to an emergency, e.g., plumbing leak or fire alarm. You may not refuse access. Be kind to turtles - Close the blinds at night because the light bothers the turtles during their mating season (May through October). It is also a county ordinance that no light should be visible from the beach at night. - You may see small portions of the beach roped off. This is because turtles have nested there. Please don’t disturb those spaces. Help keep sand to a minimum inside - When coming in from the beach, use the hose by the pool gate or garage gate to wash the sand off beach toys and equipment (and yourselves!) - Use the towel stand on the balcony to hang wet towels to dry and shake them off outside before washing. Use the towel clips provided so they don't blow away. - There will be sand in the condo, it is unavoidable! We have provided a broom and vacuum for you to use during your stay. This is not required, only if you feel the need. Respect our stuff. During your stay, you are welcome to use any of our games, toys, and beach equipment. Please understand that these are our personal belongings so we ask you to treat them nicely and put them back where you found them. Do not leave food out or in open containers. This could attract ants. Please make use of the ziplocs, chip clips and tupperware. Please no eating in the bedrooms. Dorito fingers and white bed sheets don't mix. No climbing on the balcony railing! Feet on the floor or butts in seats at all times. No smoking in the unit, on the balcony, or anywhere within 15 feet of the building. Caution: Illegal activities or persistent violations of the house or building rules may result in your removal from the property without a refund. We do not want that to happen! NOTES: The Smart TV in the living room does not have cable. Use the YouTube TV app to watch regular shows and sports, or feel free to sign in to your personal accounts such as Netflix, Hulu or Prime. You may not add additional services/channels to the YouTube TV account without advance approval. The bedroom TVs all have regular cable only. When you arrive, you’ll see that we have several beach items (cooler, wagon, umbrella, chairs) against the wall in our parking spot. There are more chairs and toys in the unit. You are welcome to use anything we have, but please put those items back either in the parking spot or in the closets upstairs. There is a bike rack in one corner of the garage where you’ll find boogie boards and other beach stuff. Feel free to borrow any loose items not locked up. **Do not leave our personal equipment in this area.** PARKING Read these instructions completely and follow the rules to avoid getting towed!!! - Only two cars per unit are allowed to park at Sanibel. You are guaranteed 1 reserved parking spot in the garage. That spot is labeled "701". **Do not park in any other numbered spot.** Those are for other owners and their guests, and they will not hesitate to tow you. - If you arrive to find a car parked in the 701 spot, call me immediately at 607-793-3996, day or night, and I will have the car removed promptly. While you wait, you can park in any open spot labeled "owner parking only" or any open spot in the front lot. - Always park in the 701 spot before taking another space elsewhere. This helps ensure the building can accommodate as many guest vehicles as possible. - You are allowed to park a second car on the premises, but parking for your 2nd car is first-come-first-served. Your 2nd car can be parked in any "owner parking only" spot in the garage -- some are labeled on the wall and some on the floor -- or in any open spot in the front lot. ONCE YOU PARK: 1. Go to the 1st-floor lobby and look for the yellow registration forms on the table by the mailboxes. 2. Complete the top portion and put it in the Sanibel Condominium Office mail slot. 3. Then, for each car you have parked at Sanibel (max 2 cars), complete the bottom portion of the form, tear it off, and place it on your dashboard. This must be done ASAP. The building staff checks the lot and garage regularly. To return to your car from the unit, take the elevator down to the G (Garage) level.
