Welcome to Sonoma Creek Retreat located in the beautiful Sonoma Valley, close to Kenwood Village and walking distance to many wineries. Enjoy views of Sugarloaf Ridge and the peaceful setting among the large oaks on this 1- acre property. Relax in the pool or chill out in the pool house. Once you step behind the gates, you will know why we call it 'Sonoma Creek Retreat.'

31 day minimum. This is a beautifully decorated and comfortable farmhouse set back from the Sonoma highway and behind a fence that provides privacy from the road and neighbors. Fruit trees adorn the 1.1 acre property and can be picked when in season. The solar heated pool is comfortable and refreshing during the summer months. A firepit is available for evening enjoyment, as are two barbeques, an outdoor ping pong table (under the lights at night) and a horseshoes pit. Many world-famous and small, wonderful family-owned wineries are within a short drive or stumbling distance. Great restaurants, shopping and another necessary amenities and convinces are nearby in Kenwood, Sonoma, Glen Ellen and Santa Rosa. Many great state parks and hiking trails are within a few minutes drive. Come stay and you will see why we call it a "Retreat."

Randy and Mona were wonderful hosts. They were extremely communicative, caring, and helpful. It’s clear they aim for their guests to have a five star stay. When an unexpected construction job started outside of the home, they were extremely accommodating to ensure all were comfortable. We will definitely stay with them again!

Fantastic location and stay - house was in great shape, pool and yard was an awesome addition as well. Overall 10/10 stay, thanks for the hospitality and responsiveness throughout our stay in Kenwood, it was really appreciated!!! Would definitely recommend!

This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Kenwood . There are plenty of restaurants & wineries nearby. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed the yard, creek in back, fire pit and playing ping pong. The hosts, Randy & Mona are very responsive, friendly and accommodating. There is a beautiful pool that we’d love to come back to enjoy in summertime! A wonderful place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sonoma Creek Retreat. Randy and Mona were great hosts, providing everything we needed-communication was quick and easy. The location in Kenwood was ideal for us visiting family in Santa Rosa and wine tasting in Sonoma. That said, we didn't want to leave the beautiful grounds of this property! The heated pool was so inviting and relaxing. Inside, the house was super clean, well decorated and stocked. We hope to return next year and will not hesitate to rent this special place again!

We bought this place not too long ago given our love for Sonoma and wanting to have a retreat for our frequent visits, when our place is not rented for guests. Hencd the name, Sonoma Creek Retreat. My wife, Mona and I currently live not too far away in the Bay Area. We very much enjoy the wine country, hiking and various activities in the area, as well as the slower pace of the Sonoma Valley relative to some of thr big cities in the Bay Area. I was raised in the South Bay and my wife was born and raised in Monterey, CA. We hope you enjoy our place!

House Rules

(1) All overnight guests need to be registered through the Airbnb app for insurance and fire safety purposes as recommended by the Sonoma County Fire department. Any non-registered overnight guests not agreed to in writing in advance of check in will be subject to a $50/night charge per guest to be handled through the Airbnb resolution center and/or can result in eviction from the property without refund. (2) Guests having less than 3 positive reviews on Airbnb will be required to pay a deposit of $1,000 for their stay. This deposit will be collected separately and will be returned timely in accordance with State law and assuming no damage to the property. Such guest will also have to provide ID for each guest staying at the home. (3) No non-guests will be present on the property with the exception of (1) the owner or owner's authorized workers if requested and/or if repairs are needed during your stay, (2) the pool cleaners who are onsite once per week-usually on Monday and (3) the gardeners, who are onsite once per week-usually on Tues or Friday morning. Refundable Damage Deposit

Fully refundable within 21 days (pursuant to CA law) of checkout assuming all house rules are followed and no damages.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check in. Weather delays, smoke from wildfires and travel delays are not valid reasons for providing refunds. We highly recommend trip insurance to protect your vacation investment.

Notes

We will be working on zoning and short term rental permit process as conditions allow in Sonoma County. At this point, we can only allow extended stays (more than 31 days) in compliance with Sonoma County regulations. Hoping to offer short term rentals in the future.
