This luxurious mountain home is the perfect space for friends, families, or work retreats. Designed to delight guests no matter the season, our rustic home includes a large outdoor deck with a grill and jacuzzi.

The space includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, large enough to sleep up to 16 guests! It is only 15 minutes from Snowshoe Mountain; West Virginia's largest ski resort. This was exactly what my family needed for a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day schedules. The peaceful serenity we had at the cabin was good for the soul. The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. The hot tub was amazing for the cool nights on the mountain. Being lazy on the hammock was top notch and we all enjoyed lounging while we were at the cabin. There are plenty of things to do and see in Slaty Fork and the surrounding areas, but just lazy days at the cabin were amazing enough. I can’t wait to return some day whenever we decide to take another vacation! :) Also the host was the most responsive host I’ve dealt with so far. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin, Aleksandar!

Beautiful place. Photos don’t really do it justice. The lower level bedroom and living room are very private. Aleksander checked in during our stay and even included treats for the kids-which was above and beyond. The house was very peaceful and secluded. Lovely to visit in the Spring-with plenty of hiking nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is a perfect place for R&R and to get away from it all. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. The hot tub was amazing. You have to see the house in person because the pictures don’t fully capture how beautiful it is. We hope to go back some time for another great getaway!

Very nice cabin. You feel like you are in a really private space and the space is impressive. From the beautiful decks to hot tub and fire pit, the whole stay here feels like a vacation in paradise. Nearby are beautiful parks, great restaurants (try almost heaven bbq!!) and tons to do. Five stars!

This was a last minute trip for us and it was a fantastic find!!! What an amazing stay. Anyone looking to come in winter, you must have 4WD and/or chains. We’ve come to Snowshoe for 5 years now and this by far was the BEST stay. Easy access to the mountain, skiing, and the stores(if need be). This home is well stocked with games, dvds, and tons of extras. The kitchen is well stocked for a full house. The hammocks were Devine to lounge in and soak up the crisp weather. We took the time to hike in the mountain, which was wonderful. This area is so incredibly beautiful. There is also a hot tub on site to relax and enjoy. A gas fireplace if you need a little extra warm or ambiance, back patio has chair, loungers, rockers and a swing. Everything is so cozy. We felt right at home. The host is proactive, very responsive and all around amazing. We will be returning for sure.

This home was quiet and comfortable and very close to Snowshoe; had almost everything shown in the description. Kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies & dishes to enjoy homecooked meals Check-in info discloses that the home is on a natural spring; it is recommended you bring drinking water. The master bedroom has a king bed, but the other 2 were not kings. The office area had an extra monitor and a beautiful view. The wifi in this area of WV is a little glitchy, but manageable; plan ahead for that if you need to upload documents or stream media. We were not able to get the gas logs to work for very long, but found the home to be warm using the heat alone. There are 3 tv areas (there was not a tv in the master bedroom) so if you have a larger group there is room to enjoy video games and movies or shows separately. The hot tub was great. You need 4 wheel drive/chains to ascend & descend the drive in winter weather. The home has 3 levels- keep in mind there are many stairs.

Great cabin getaway. It had a hot tub under the stars, along with a gas fireplace and tons of dvds! Nice family time with hiking trails and snowshoe less than 20 min away. There is one BBQ restaurant and then more at snowshoe. If you need groceries, there is a very small one and some dollar generals. It was exactly what we wanted and enjoyed our time.

Hello ,
We did the best we could but honest feedback from you and your friends/ family will help us a lot to improve the listing .
However we are still working on the house manual but here are some the important information:
0. CHECK IN 4pm CHECK OUT 11am
1. There is no physical address, it’s Slaty Fork Farm community and to get to the house use these coordinates (copy Them in the google Maps 38.429357, -80.068936) .
Make sure to download map while you have a service, service at the mountain is spotty. https://prnt.sc/1wv7mgp
2. Main entrance is on the top driveway key will be left in the lockbox code 2303 . Lockbox is attached to door knob.
House has an alarm. Keypad is next to the thermostat and the code is 2303. After you enter the house you have the 60s to enter the code and X (top left with the shield). When you leave the house enter the code again and press the button in the right corner (runner button). When is armed all doors needs to be closed and windows. During your stay, you can keep the house unarmed if you would like. Please make sure that the alarm is armed when you check out.
3. WiFi Is BNB SNOWSHOE and pw is fujitsu123
4. TV has a satellite TV , DVD player and a lot of movies can be find upstairs in the office .
For the living room TV there are 2 main remote controls . LG and Dish. It depends what you want to watch HDMI 2 input is for the satellite TV channels or if you want to watch some of the streaming apps like Netflix, Prime videos or You Tube you will need to use your account .
5. Fire place can not be used for too long and can not stay ON overnight without any supervision. Turn off fire place on check out.
Fireplace instructions: Remove the cover turn on the right button to pilot, push it in, press the left button twice(check if fire is lit), turn the right button to desire level. If you followed the instructions, fireplace is working. To turn it off, turn the right button to off

6. Dishes needs to be washed before check out . There is a $200 fee for leaving dishes dirty.
7. Please don’t use shoes in the house .
8. HOT TUB (follow instructions attached on the pillar outside )
9. Remove all dirty sheets from the bed and place them on the floor same with towels.
10. If you can take your trash and dump it in a dumpster at the entrance
11 . Leave the key on the same place upon checking out .
12. KEEP KIDS AWAY FROM THE GYM, YOU ARE USING EQUIPMENT ON YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES.
13. Please put away weights after working out and wipe
Down the equipment.
14. Keep the gym closed because of the kids
15. Please keep in mind that if you are using white hammock for outside store it back inside the house and also any swings, hammocks, hot tub and gym equipment you are using on your own responsibility .
16. IMPORTANT Water Supply for the house is natural spring, we are very high on the mountain so please be conservative as much as you can, if you ever ran into the issue please contact us immediately and we will take care of it.
Water in the house is clean and tested but we suggest not to drink it.
17. Propane heater can only be used outside and on uncovered porch area. Please do not use a propane hater where the porch is covered or close to the windows. Keep the propane heater on low all the time to prevent damages. If you would like to turn it on, turn the black circle on left and then press the red button slowly.
18. WV STATE BURNING LAW, FINE: $1000 FOR VIOLATING THE BURNING LAW:
- March 1 - Dec 31
- No burning from 7 A.M. until 5 P.M.
- Fire must be attended at all times.

Cancellation Policy
