5BR/4BA (Sleeps 14- 4Q, 2D, 1SS) Check out this coastal gem!  Just steps from the beach with a heated (for a fee) swimming pool, ocean views, spacious living areas-all nestled on a beautiful lot with Palm and Live Oak trees. Enter the main house into the living, dining and kitchen combination area. This house is beautifully decorated with coastal accents and cool colors reminiscent of the sea. The well-equipped, spacious kitchen is open with bar seating for two and a wet bar. This property features 2 full kitchens which helps with feeding a crowd. The dining area seats 8 and is filled with lots of natural light. The living area provides a relaxing area for curling up with a good book or visiting with family and friends. A large den is off the living area with views of the ocean, TV, board games, puzzles and additional dining for 3-5. Washer/Dryer is in the den closet. A sun deck is located off the den and overlooks the pool and offers ocean views with seating. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor: Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed with a private door to the sundeck. Bedroom 2 is the Master Bedroom with Queen Bed, TV and bathroom with tub/shower. The Hallway bathroom has a molded shower with seating and a connected vanity sink area. The Upstairs loft has a spacious bedroom with Ocean views, two Double Beds, Foosball table, and connecting bathroom with tub/shower.  The attached private cottage is charming! Enter through a quaint Screened porch with Vintage wicker chairs & table. Included in the cottage suite is an open living area (TV) with kitchen and dining. Upstairs: two bedrooms both with a Queen Bed and a hallway bathroom with walk-in shower.  



Enjoy the four distinct outdoor gathering seating areas. The upper deck has a restored teak table for morning coffee, afternoon sun and evening drinks. The pool area features plenty of pool toys and floats, 4 reclining chaise lounge chairs, a hammock with stand and a shaded seating area to watch the fun. The oasis (under the house) faces the beach, and it features a loveseat, cozy chairs and tables, the perfect place for a card game or just a place to catch up and listen to the waves. This is a great spot for an outdoor lunch at the picnic table. The cottage Screen porch is a bit more private and provides a respite from the action. A quiet place to read, share secrets or have a little snooze.



Outside is an enclosed outdoor Hot/Cold shower. You are sure to enjoy “Shannonigans”!

Lisa Clare
Well it took us long enough but we finally fulfilled our dream. A house, as the song goes " by the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea." Edisto Beach is what we searching for. We are a family of 7 that has multiplied and continues to do so. Alan is a CPA, CFP and with our independent practice and I am the Director of Operations with Financial Allies. We have worked together for over 20 years and actually enjoy it. We are both active in our church, social causes and our adult children 's and grandchildren's lives. Shannonigans became possible through a lot of hard work, many NO's to our children and now through you. Your reservations and fees contribute to years of enjoyment for us all.

dispose of the butts properly. (Inspection of the property is done after every check-out and clean up

Our goal is to be a green property, and we ask you to help us reach that goal. We want to respect and protect this beautiful beach and surroundings. We have provided storage containers to cut down on plastic disposable. Although we do not have recycling pick up on Edisto beach you can take a quick trip to the recycling center, Paper, cardboard, plastic and cans. Plastic bags can be deposited at the Food Lion.
