Have you ever wanted to be in the middle of nowhere, while being in the middle of it all?

Welcome to La Desert Pointe, a beautifully restored mid-century desert villa on 5 private acres with panoramic views of the Joshua Tree Highlands and surrounding desert, while being just 12 minutes from Joshua Tree and the trendy boutiques and restaurants in 29 Palms.

The home is over 2,000 square feet, comprising 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a full queen sofa bed that even the owners will sleep on.
The property surrounded by Pinto Mountains to the south alongside the edge of Joshua Tree National Park, and stunning views of Big Bear Mountain to the East.

Very little light pollution which is ideal for stargazing that you almost don’t need a telescope! And while our property has ample outside lighting, all can be turned off at a flick of a switch so you can better take in the shooting stars & constellations!

Want to play while you're here? We have an ample supply of board games, ping pong table, cornhole, and horseshoes.

In terms of entertainment, we have a fully stocked turntable + vinyl, and our TV has Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and ESPN+.

There are two Ring motion-sensitive cameras in the driveway, they are solely there for your protection and do not overlook any private areas of the property.

Absolutely loved our stay at Geoffrey and Donna's place! Location is amazing, beautiful views day and night, quiet and peaceful. Property was nice and clean, everything was labeled and easy to find, interior design and decoration was very cute. Communication was excellent and they were extremely responsive with whatever we needed. Our apartment pups absolutely loved having such a large area to explore and play. Will definitely be staying again! Thank you again for the hospitality Geoffrey and Donna!

We felt right at home at Donna's and Geoffrey place. the yead was huge the fur babies ran around a fully fenced yard. We enjoyed the cowboy pool in the heated spa everyday that we were there. the kitchen was extremely clean everything was organized and labeled. beautiful washer and dryer LOL as women love washers and dryers. I love the fact that you had misters in your patio plenty of outdoor chairs and your barbecue pit was one of the cleanest that I have ever seen. We will definitely be back!

I stayed at La Desert Pointe for two weeks in November 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed it. But I really wanted to experience it during the summer, so I returned for two more weeks in August 2024. Every good thing I said in 2023 still stands, but now I can add the that place just shines in the summer, when you can take advantage of the misters on the porch and the cowboy pool (kept pristine thanks to a proper filter). I also noticed several upgrades to the property over the past nine months, including a more user-friendly front gate; a very nice, new wooden deck in back; and a sun shade for the cowboy pool (much appreciated in August). Geoffrey and Donna are constantly thinking of ways to make the place even better. There’s nice hiking in the immediate area, and Joshua Tree is not far, but be warned: one you’re at the house you may never want to leave…

This place is way more spacious than it looks on the pictures. The home was very clean, and was very welcoming. There are lots of small details that made our stay more convenient (sun screen, plenty of towels, etc.). There are a couple of other houses not too far away from the home, still felt very private. Would definitely come back, perfect place for star gazing!

I almost don’t want to recommend staying at Geoffrey and Donna’s desert getaway because I don’t want to fight over booking this place, but it’s too good to keep to myself. We took the dog for a long weekend out of the city to this beautiful home near Joshua Tree National Park. The dog enjoyed the yard and we enjoyed the tubs and AC. I can’t say enough about the view but it’s the best I’ve ever had staying out in the area. The kitchen is awesome and we cooked every meal we had which is unusual for us. Geoffrey and Donna were so nice and responsive to any of our dumb questions. We truly enjoyed this stay and will be back!

Donna is from London, UK and is a local realtor and home stager in Joshua Tree and Palm Springs.

They have been fortunate to have travelled the world to places like France, Turkey, South Africa, Singapore, Thailand, and everywhere in between. But now they've settled in the desert for good, and love it!
