The Sanctuary, hosted by Nautipussy is tucked away on a quiet street just two blocks off Duval in historic Old Town Key West. This hidden gem is one of six units in a small gated complex minutes from all the attractions. This studio features a loft with a queen bed and a full bed for two additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside is a private seating and dining area. There is an outside shower to rinse off from a day at the beach along with a washer and dryer.

The studio apt is great. Beautifully done and very thoughtfully designed to maximize space. The apt is.not big, but was more than enough. Brand new kitchen, spotless bathroom. The outdoors space, that has a dining table where I worked most days, and a cafe table, and chairs creates an outdoor living room, I loved it. Its location makes it very private, but just blocks away from just about everything. Walkable, bike able. Really amazing location. Alan is a great host. Highly recommend.

My wife, our dog, and I absolutely loved our stay at Alan’s studio! Small, but very cozy and in a perfect location! Very near Duval, but just away enough to be quiet and mellow. The studio was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great month-long stay. The ladder to the loft was totally fine for my wife and I (in our early 30s), but may be challenging for older folks or those with disabilities. The air conditioner works VERY WELL, even despite the mid-summer heat and humidity, and we often woke up chilly in the mornings. The shower water gets HOT, and stays hot, which was wonderful. The outside seating area is jungle-y, nice to sit at, and fairly private despite being shared. The washer & dryer work great, and we used them often. We also used the provided bikes often, and Alan was kind enough to drop by and make sure the bike tires were aired up for us. All-in-all, our stay in Key West was wonderful, and Alan was a wonderful host! Can’t wait to come back! 🏝️

Alan was a very thoughtful and responsive host: a pleasure to work with. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was excellent and you can walk pretty easily to anywhere in Old Town or Bahama Village. We enjoyed spending time in the courtyard in the evenings and had some great conversations with guests staying in the adjacent apartment. The only drawback for us was the amount of ambient noise inside the unit. If someone is having a conversation in the courtyard you can hear it inside and vice versa. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful experience in a perfect location. Thank you Alan.

Alan and Jean are very responsive and accommodating. They answered all our questions and even helped us secure a nearby parking spot. We can’t say enough about what exceptional hosts they are. Their place is well laid out and nicely appointed for longer stays. It is perfectly located for easy access to all that Key West has to offer. The courtyard is enjoyable for dining, to hang out in, or just view through all the windows. Using the ladder to get in and out of bed was not a problem for us and the bed was very comfortable. During our month-long stay we walked to everything in Old Town and used the provided cruiser bikes for trips into New Town. Alan even brought over a third bike when a friend joined us for a few days. We look forward to renting from them in the future.
