Our home is located in the family-friendly neighborhood of Cherry Grove Beach at the most northern tip of North Myrtle Beach. Cherry Grove was recently voted the #1 beach in South Carolina and was recognized as one of the best beaches in the US by Trip Advisor!

This is a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and dining, but far enough to have a peaceful night after a night out on the town.

Locals like to get around in a Golf Cart.
There are Golf cart rentals in the area where you can rent from.
If you prefer, you can also get around in your car, bike, Uber, Lyft or walking.

- Beach gear may be available for use during your stay.

- Up to 2 dogs are allowed at our discretion. Please reach out before booking if you are bringing dogs.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect.

If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

Perfect

This home was absolutely perfect for my husband and I to “decompress” after our daughter’s wedding in TN. We loved the pool and the location to the beach is just a short walk to catch beautiful morning and evening skies ! All this and pet friendly too for our fur babie! Definitely hope to return one day soon.

I cannot say enough of how responsive and considerate Francesca was. WE were visiting MB again after 21 years for a friend's reunion and Francesca made or stay as comfortable and pleasurable as we wanted. The Salty Starfish is a fabulous vacation home with all the amenities. It’s super clean and new. We loved hanging out at the pool and balcony on the comfy furniture, and swimming in the pool which offers both sun and shade. The ocean really is a 3 minute walk! The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The little extras made this feel like a luxury vacation. Francesca checked in with us and was readily available. We appreciate her obvious attention to making our stay a wonderful experience.

Fantastic rental

Start to finish, renting Salty Starfish for our annual family vacation was fantastic! The host is fabulous, attentive and kind.She truly cares about your experience. The home is beautiful and well cared for and obviously loved. The beach access is literally a one minute,easy walk from the home and is in a very safe area and perfect for families. The pool area is great for both children and your furry friends to lounge in the shade while you swim.. "Excellent excellent excellent"rating from someone with pretty high standards. I would give 10 stars if i could. Rent the Salty Stafish ,you wont be disappointed! Thanks for being awesome hosts! o for families families.in a walk.

What a fantastic property and location. We traveled with 3 families. 5 adults and 7 children. We had plenty of space in the home and patio. Francesca had the home equipped with everything you need for beach. It was so nice not having to bring tubs for the pool or beach chairs and umbrella even a wagon to get all your stuff to the beach. She even had a spot set up for us at the beach with 2 beach chairs and umbrella. That was so nice because each day we already had a spot before we got there. We travel quite often with our family and Francesca has been one of the best host. She is very quick to respond. We unfortunately booked the week of hurricane Debby and she kept us informed on the weather, what to expect and what to do to keep us and my family safe. If anyone is looking for a house very close to the beach with a pool this is the house with a great host ! Can’t wait to book our next trip to the salty starfish ! Thank you Francesca for a great experience

The Salty Starfish lived up to every single photo and description, it’s a beautiful home! We had six adults, three children, and one infant, and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. The house is laid out beautifully with plenty of room for all. All of the bedrooms are beautiful and the kitchen is completely up-to-date. Lots of outdoor space With a beautiful pool and handy charcoal grill, which we used a couple of times. I would highly recommend the Salty Starfish and hope to enjoy it again in the near future!

Wow! The property was perfect. Short walk to the beach. Very clean! Multiple outdoor conversation areas and all of them were perfectly clean. Not a single detail was missed ! We loved this property!

Wonderful stay for our family of 7. Beach access is so close and convenient which was very important to us. The house and the pool were perfect and exactly as listed, even with a couple of surprises. We packed so much for the trip and literally could have left half at home since Francesca provided so much of beach vacation necessities. We cook a lot and kitchen was very well prepared for that. Would we rebook? Absolutely!We also met several of the neighbors of adjacent properties, all who are home owners and do not rent, and they all were very nice and spoke highly of Francesca. We couldn’t agree more. Thanks Francesca Shout out to : J and L Kayaking . One of the highlights of our trip and 2 minutes away from the Salty Starfish. Justin was our guide and felt like part of the family.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 12 guests, including children and infants. Any additional guest will have a daily rate of $300 per guest and we reserve the right to immediately terminate right to occupy the premises.

• The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. primary guest ID may be required.

• The number of guests this home accommodates is the maximum number of guests allowed including children. The maximum occupancy for the home is 14 guests, including children and infants. The responsible party that has signed this rental agreement must occupy the property during the confirmed dates. Any guest over the maximum allowed will be charged a penalty fee of $300 per person, per night. Violation of this policy will result in termination of this rental agreement and/or immediate eviction without refund of any funds.

• A maximum of 2 dogs under 40 lbs are allowed in the property with payment of a $250.00 per pet that will be included in the total amount at time of reservation or added after reservation and before check-out if not disclosed at time of reservation.

• No smoking is allowed. A $250.00 fee will be charged for ionizing if evidence of smoking has been found.

• House parties and groups with members under the age of 25 are strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of this rental agreement/eviction.

• Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. for the benefit of all in the neighborhood. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of this rental agreement/eviction.

• There is a BBQ for your enjoyment and use in the backyard. We ask that before you depart, if you have used the BBQ, to make sure to clean and put on the protective cover.

• If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back

• There will be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions.

• High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience and is not integral to the agreement. While we hope and will work for you to always have internet service, there will be no refund for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences regarding internet service.

Payment Policy

We require 50% payment at time of reservation, and 50% payment 30 days prior to check-in.
If no payment is received 30 days prior to check in, you forfeit the 50% deposit.

Refundable Damage Deposit

There is a damage deposit of $70 due upon booking.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 30 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.

We will send you a message 30 days prior to check-in, in order to pay the additional 50% due. You will have 48 hours to make payment. If no payment is received, your reservation will be cancelled and you will forfeit 50% of the deposit received.
