Built a few years ago to look and feel just like a true Carolina Classic. 6 master suites, 7200 SF, English Style Bar Room, Extra Large Living Room, Dining Room, Gourmet Kitchen / 3 full size refrigerators & Commercial gas stove. Huge Game Room with big theater screen, full size Pool table, Foose ball, TX Hold’em Poker table, Bar, Shuffle Board, Air Hokey & Ping Pong Table.

The incredible Saltaire Mansion sits on a beautifully landscaped large corner property in the heart of the quaint Duck Village. The most coveted prime real estate in the entire Outer Banks.

A 4-person elevator can take you to all three floors. This magnificent 7200 sq. foot home & estate provides you with the best location in all of Duck, OBX, NC to stroll to everything this beautiful village has to offer.

The Ocean is at the end of our street with no roads to cross & it's own private access making it easy to take our coolers, surf & boogie boards, kayak, umbrellas & beach chairs to the beach with you that we provide.

The large trees and superb professional landscaping makes you feel as if your destination a secluded country estate. There is a Playground for the kids and Putting Green for the golfers.

Relax poolside or sit in the built in pool Jacuzzi to babysit the kids. Rainy spring day melt away in the large hot tub inside the poolside gazebo. Enjoy refreshing beverages at the outdoor bar /mini kitchen. A Large Gas Grill is located right next to the bar area. Meander in the gardens and relish an old fashion game of croquet or badminton. Play an exciting game of chess or checkers on the exceptionally large old fashion covered porch.

Saltaire has a Saturday to Saturday turn over day. If there are open days before or after your stay we are happy to extend your trip at the prorated amount with an additional discount. Out of Season from Nov. to April we will consider 4 night stays.

ROOMS:
The first floor includes a formal Dining Room with full length of the room banquet server.

A manly Man’s Pub Room. Decorated in dark wood paneling & fine leather furniture that offers a home theater system, fireplace and large custom-built bar, discretionary poker game & half bath.

Gourmet Kitchen with three stainless steel refrigerators, gourmet gas range/1 gas oven & 1 electric oven, 6 burners and grill along with other amenities. Perfect for fixing up a gourmet meal. Several coffee pots, micro, large toaster oven and everything else you imagine.

Incorporated into the spacious Living Room is a special round room with the Historic grand piano that Liberace played on. Sip champagne while relaxing in front of your second cozy fireplace during winter months.

Two sets of Stained Glass French doors open to a view of the property’s landscaped gardens. Enjoy your cool shaded large wrap around covered porch & outdoor wet bar any time of the year. A half bathroom is located poolside along with an outdoor shower. Want even more places to relax, just take a few steps down to the large pool with a decked courtyard, umbrella outdoor dining & lounge chairs. Swimming season is prolonged if you choose the heated pool option.

The third floor boasts five elegant Guest Suites will full baths & all are decorated with fine antique touches. The rooms are spacious and comfortable so that guests may settle in for a week with the feeling of warmth & luxury. The largest suite has a king bed, sitting area, crib and changing table. 3 other master bedrooms have a Queen size beds. A 5th bedroom has a queen and 2 twins and sleeps 4.

The bottom floor features a Theater Room with a 72" television with theater system that is perfect for watching the big game.

In addition this huge Family Room offers a fourth full size refrigerator, third wet bar full size pool table, large Texas Holdem’ poker table for 10, foosball table, shuffle board table. Adjoining area has a ping pong table and air hokey games. It can easily keep all your friends and relatives happy at the same time.

A spacious 6th Bedroom Suite sleeps 6 with a queen bed and 2 sets of bunk beds, large bathroom with a super giant Jacuzzi tub & large steam shower.

Laundry facilities are available on this level, as is garage access so that handicapped guests may access the elevator that services all three levels of the house.

Amenities include: Pool with built in Jacuzzi, Separate Hot Tub in Gazebo, Huge Playground set in spacious yard, Putting Green. Manly Men’s Bar, Bigger game room then other rentals, kayak, surf & boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas, gourmet kitchen with commercial stove, 3 bar areas, Steam room & large Jacuzzi, Fantastic living room with grand piano and wrap around decks on porch, & 2 seasonal fireplaces. Our street has it’s own private beach access with the very best beach & fantastic Ocean Sunrise views. Across the street the boardwalk runs the entire length of town with a wonderful Catena Bar and seating to enjoy Sound Sunset views in the evening before dinner, with over a dozen restaurants to stroll to, plus so much more.

Our property is located in the heart of downtown Duck, within convenient walking distance to world class dining, golfing and water sports, as well as coffee shops, the ABC store, specialty shops and galleries. Being able to walk to almost any destination is what makes the Town of Duck unique among those on the Outer Banks, as most require significant driving to attractions and stores.

Duck also features a boardwalk with shops on the water and a path for runners and bikers. While you will have to walk 4/10 of a mile to get to the ocean, you will not have to cross Duck Road. The house sits on a corner lot of Marlin Drive, so private beach access is a short walk to the end of this road.

The Town Park features 11 acres of natural beauty including trails through the maritime forest and willow swamp, open green space, sound side views, and access to the Duck Boardwalk. The Duck Boardwalk extends nearly a mile along the Currituck Sound and can be accessed from the Town Park and other locations throughout the Town’s Village Commercial District.

The little town of Duck has garnered quite a reputation as one of the best vacation spots on the Outer Banks. Regularly appearing on a number of national Best Beaches' lists, (including the Travel Channel's best beach directory), Duck features all the elements of a fantastic Outer Banks vacation destination. Enjoy waterfront access on the ocean and sound side, sublime shopping and dining, walking the nature type boardwalk that runs the length of town over the sound.
Duck offers hiking, surfing, kayaking, kite boarding and beach space to go around. Duck retains its small town quirky charter and distinctive draw to vacationers from all around the country.

Vacation rentals in Duck generally fill up fast, we let you make your reservation as far in advance as you would like to, so booking your vacation early is easy to do. Book early, and be prepared to stay for at least a week, as unless it is a last minute reservation, all homes are only rented from Saturday to Saturday, or Sunday to Sunday. Another Great Reason why Saltaire’s FRIDAY TO FRIDAY rental week is so fantastic. Saving you 5 hours in traffic coming and going back home gives you 10 extra hours in your life to enjoy Duck even more. THE DUCK TOWN PARK AND SOUNDSIDE BOARDWALK ARE LOCATED IN THE HEART OF DUCK RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE SALTAIRE MANSION.

This 11 acre park in the heart of Duck offers Maritime forest, willow swamp, an open lawn with amphitheater and public shelters, and a beautiful over-water boardwalk winding along the Currituck Sound.

The Duck boardwalk is a wonderful place to view a sound side sunset. It Duck Town Park provides a playground for all seasons and more. Its 11 acres consist of a mix of Maritime Forest, willow swamp, open lawn with amphitheater and picnic shelters, all sitting next to the lovely shallow waters of scenic Currituck Sound.

Situated in the heart of Duck, the Park is also central to most of the town’s public activities. During the season, the smoke-free Park offers live theatre, stories and magic shows for children in the mornings and a concert series for all ages in the early evenings. All during the day, every day from dawn ‘til dusk, visitors and locals can take advantage of the park’s picnic shelter, walking trails through the woods, canoe and kayak access and playground with gazebo.
