This is an incredible cabin with a rustic flavor. Ever wanted to hear what an elk bugle sounds like? A nearby elk ranch may give you the opportunity to do so. Bring your side by side's and trailers because there is ample parking located on this property. It has everything you need for your next trip to Southeastern Utah. Wifi and great cell service at the property. There is not extra cost to use the great parking options for your trailers, RV's, and all of your toys. Come and enjoy!

The cabin is huge with a lot of available beds. The inside is rustic as per the description, with lots of wood flooring and walls, but we really liked it. If you’re just using it as a jumping off point to visit the area with a large group it is a pretty good deal. Overall I think we really liked it and are thinking of coming back with a bigger group next year. However, while the cabin is great for a large group to shack up in at night, it isn’t really on a spot where you’d wanna hang out during the day. The spot the cabin is in has beautiful vistas but is enough outside of town that it isn’t really walking distance to anything, but the main issue is that the lot that its on currently could use some landscaping and cleaning up. I wasn’t surprised by this and was fine with it as I’d viewed the cabin on (Hidden by Airbnb) earth before renting it, and we were planning on just using it at night and doing tons of four wheeling and hiking around Blanding during the day. But if you’re expecting a nice landscaped yard look elsewhere. The biggest issue we had with the cabin as it was when we were there was with some safety issues. The stairs to the upstairs are steep, made of wood, and there’s no handrail. My wife was scared to death she was going to fall down them. I wouldn’t want young kids or folks with mobility issues to be navigating them. The other issue was the stone hearth in the main room was a tripping hazard, which I tripped or stubbed my toe on at least 5 times. Another issue is that as far as we could tell there isn’t central heating, or any air conditioning, at least when we were there. When we rented the description accurately said that the cabin lacked air conditioning, so we knew this and figured we wouldn’t need it, but after we rented the description changed and claimed air conditioning, so maybe they’re going to install it, but we couldn’t see that it had any when we were there. Not a problem for us as we were there in the mid spring and the temps were fine. But I’d imagine in the summer it could be unbearable unless they install air conditioning. In the winter you can probably heat it up just fine with the wood stove, (and the space heaters they have around the house) which they supply wood for.

Fantastic place to rest after a day of playing in Bear's Ears National Monument. The home has lots of bed space and getting in and out was a breeze. The home could have used a little better deep clean before we arrived with some dog hair on the couch and other items left out but the host was very responsive. A great value for the size of the home all to yourself. You do share the yard with owners 2 other homes and a fair amount of their storage (read old cars/trucks, storage containers) but they weren't at all intrusive. Definitely going to come back to explore more of the amazing southern Utah desert.
