Refundable Damage Deposit
PRIMARY GUEST REGISTRATION AGREEMENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT/BOND
When booking with us you accept that;
While you are in occupation, you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the property, its furniture and fittings, and/or any consequent loss suffered by Riverlea Retreat Mudgee.
All fixtures, fittings, furniture and appliances are assumed to be in good working order at the commencement of your stay, and in the event that any item is not in good working order at the commencement of your stay, you must notify us immediately, so that the condition of the item can be recorded at that time.
If we have not received notification from you, any damage will be deemed to have been caused by you.
Any breakages, damage/loss or injury which occur during your occupation must be reported to us prior to your departure, and either replaced to the satisfaction of Riverlea Retreat Mudgee. Failure to comply with this condition will result in your bond being held until the matter is resolved, or a claim being lodged with AirBnb, Stayz, Bookings.com if you have made your booking through those booking channels.
Malfunctioning equipment or damages, – If there are any problems with the property or malfunctioning equipment, please report it immediately and do not leave your report until check-out. We do not issue refunds for problems with Satellite TV, Internet, media players, outdoor bathtub, games, pool tables, pool or anything else that is not considered a necessity. We will make every effort to assist with a solution where possible; however, there may be limited contractors or service providers in the area, after hours or on weekends. You will be held responsible for any damages to the rental home or property, caused by you or your guests. Riverlea Retreat Mudgee is inspected after each stay and if any items are missing or damaged you will be charged.

Cancellation Policy
All monies paid are non-refundable.
Where a guest elects to cancel their booking, Riverlea Retreat Mudgee will not attempt to re-let the property, the booking is non-refundable, and no changes will be permitted.
Riverlea Retreat Mudgee reserves the right to cancel any booking if we deem the group to be not suited, or if the booking is in breach of any of our Terms and Conditions or, if the booking occupancy is not within NSW Health Guidelines or in breach of government-imposed Travel Restrictions or, if the occupancy is not approved by Riverlea Retreat Mudgee. If your booking is found to be in breach of our Terms and Conditions, you may lose all monies paid to Riverlea Retreat Mudgee.
In the unlikely event of the property being unavailable or out of order due to unforeseen service needs, damage from previous guests, environmental issues or, is no longer available due to sale of the property, change in ownership or business use, Riverlea Retreat Mudgee reserves the right to cancel at any time without notice in the event of these special circumstances. In this case, you will receive a full refund.

Notes
House Rules & Check Out Procedure
We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.
1. Please always close fly screens and keep windows without fly screens closed. This is the country side with an abundance of spiders, insects and rodents.
2. No large parties or events allowed. (Max 15 people)
3. No smoking allowed inside.
4. Please only flush pee poo and toilet paper down the toilet. Anything else will instantly block our septic system. Our house keepers check the flush on every clean, and if it’s blocked after your stay, your full bond will be deducted to cover the cost of the plumber call out, and or we will seek plumber costs through airBNB/Stays/Riparide.
5. Do not change any settings on the Media Player. (Media player instructions)
6. Pets are allowed, but not in bedrooms and not allowed on any furniture or beds. All pet excrement must be disposed of appropriately. Additional deep clean fees apply for pet stays. (Please keep your pets secure due to a lack of fencing.)
7. Please do not tamper with the solar power system, water filter, pumps or tanks.
8. For your children’s safety, please accompany children at all times on the property and especially in the pool area.
9. Please help top up the pool water for around 15 minutes using the tap and hose located near the pool gate if the pool water level is close to the bottom of the pool water filter box.
10. Please use plastic cups in the swimming pool area. No glass allowed in the pool area.
11. Please do not place drinks or non pool table related objects on the pool table.
12. Please place the fire pit lid on top of the fire pit when retiring for the evening.
13. Please turn off lights, appliances and AC before you go out and when you check out.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURE
1. Please leave property in a neat and tidy state to avoid additional cleaning fees.
2. Please respect check-out times. (If we haven’t already arranged late check out for you. Late check out might be available if there is no other booking on that day, please contact us to find out.)
3. Please load used dishes, cups, cutlery into the dishwasher and start the dishwasher, please put the dishes away back in the cupboards.
4. Please put towels in the laundry basket or leave them in the bathrooms.
5. Please clean the BBQ after use to avoid additional cleaning charges.
6. Please switch off all appliances, lights and aircon.
7. Please move furniture back to its original position if moved.
8. Please put books back, set the pool table and all game boards to be packed away.
9. Please remove rubbish and place all rubbish in the skip bin located at the entrance.
10. Please lock all sliding doors and the main doors when checking out completely.
11. Please put keys back in the key safe box next to the cottage entrance.
