Words cannot fully describe this beautiful cottage and its surroundings area. It was truly a magical place. The cottage itself was so inviting, warm and cozy. The property in which it resides is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. You don't want to leave. We felt like we were thousands of miles away from civilization. It was just what we needed to to reset in a peaceful, quiet, and tranquil setting. So thankful we were able to stay in this special cottage. Just a tip for those not from area, best to arrive during daylight to locate property easier. Looking forward to returning!

Fabulous! Beautiful! Warm! Lovely! Unique! I can go on and on. Right off the bat, Ingrid was beyond welcoming. She gave me wonderful recommendations and even provided yoga mats for me and guests when I said I wanted to do yoga!!!! Above and beyond!!!! All communication was detailed. The house itself was even more beautiful in person. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful home. Dune Lakes was absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend!

This is a nestled away OASIS!!! We did not expect the breathtaking view when we arrived and the isolation of the cottage. One would NEVER know this gem is tucked away down the dirt road, only to provide a breathtaking and serene stay.
The cottage is a charming farmhouse beauty, with nothing overlooked in decor and amenities. All you really need is to bring your food and some clothes, you would never need to leave. The open lawn area with the firepit makes for a calm and chill place to enjoy your BBQ, brunch and happy spirits!!! We spent hours out there each evening. We awoke to the beauty of the dunes and sounds of nature every morning with our coffee / tea on the comfy porch in our robes provided by the host. The cottage itself is PERFECT for a girl's weekend of any sort; family, bachelorette or just a weekend to get away. The pricing is beyond reasonable for the cottage, amenities and view. PLUS, Ingrid is an AMAZING and RESPONSIVE Host!!!

Dune Lakes was the perfect location for a small family get away. The home met all of our expectations and blew us away with all of the little extras Ingrid included. There were plenty of games to play, a handwritten card, and a welcome board with all of our names. We came here for a siblings trip with plans of spending our weekend out of the home, but ended up staying there to cook & play games the entire weekend. Ingrid provided us with lots of information leading up to our stay and was quick to respond to any questions we had while we were there. I have already recommended this home to other family & friends! You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Can’t think of a better place to stay for our last vacation of the summer before our kids go back to school. Centrally located to cool beaches and cute shopping areas. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Ingrid the host was very helpful and über responsive on which beaches to go and which restaurants were definitely worth visiting. Cannot wait to come back!

Dune Lakes is a little piece of heaven on earth!!! It is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. My little family stayed at Dune Lakes for a weekend, and it's one of the best stay at an Airbnb! There's so many things to love about this place. It's secluded, beautifully decorated, well kept and you can tell that Ingrid and her husband put a lot of love into creating a beautiful and peaceful space.
At sunset, grab yourself a glass of wine and sit outside on the patio and watch the sunset among the beautiful landscape. And, in the morning....enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch. By the way, this home is also a plant home; decorated with beautiful indoor plants. I happen to be a plant/flower lover, so this made me so happy to see all the beautiful indoor plants.
