The cabin is located on a well maintained private gravel road. It has a large driveway with plenty of room for multiple cars.

My wife, daughter and I live in Asheville, NC. We love the outdoors, traveling, music and having good times with friends and family. I work as a project manager in the tech industry and my wife is a mental health therapist. When we are not working at our jobs or on Foxie Moxie, we are usually camping, backpacking or riding mountain bikes.

We renovated Foxie Moxie with the intention to provide an experience that connects the house with the nature that surrounds it. The house has a tree theme to pay tribute to the beautiful surrounding rhododendron forest with large oak and hemlock trees. The hemlocks on the property have been treated and revived from the hemlock woolly adelgid.

Black Mountain and Montreat are 20 minutes in one direction. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are 20 minutes in the other direction. Enjoy art and the amazing food of downtown Asheville in 30 minutes. We are located 9 scenic miles from I- 40.

There is a Schlage keypad at the front door. The guest will be provided the code the day before check-in.

* 6 guests maximum
* No smoking, vaping and e-cigerettes allowed in the house or within 6' of doorways.
* No more than 2 dogs allowed to stay per visit.
* Quiet hours (outside) starts at 11pm and ends at 8am

Payment Policy

50% of booking cost is due at time of booking and the remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

a. In the event that Tenant cancels this Rental Agreement more than 30 days before the reservation date, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by Tenant to Owner
b. In the event that Tenant cancels this Rental Agreement more than 14 days but less than 30 days before the reservation date, Tenant shall be receive a 50% refund of all payments made by Tenant to Owner.
c. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 14 days of reservation date.
d. Tenant, rather than Owner, shall be responsible for seeking reimbursement of any fees paid by Tenant to Houfy any other third party for goods, services, or benefits procured by Owner from third parties for the benefit of Tenant that may have been paid out prior to Tenant's cancellation.
