Loved our stay, will be back! House and surrounding gardens are beautiful. Stocked with everything we needed for a 4 day weekend. Comfortable beds. Great coffee and espresso setup. Our toddlers loved playing in the shallow stream by the back patio and we all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and making s'mores on the patio. About 15 minutes to Lake Lure (recommend pontoon boat tour or rental) and Chimney Rock State Park (if you hike, take 4 seasons trail from the park entrance up to hickory nut falls, then loop back to the rock summit, very manageable even with kids) in one direction and to the town of Black Mountain in the other. July was actually quite hot at the Lake and in Black Mountain but it stayed cool up at the house. Wonderful getaway close to the triangle!

Jason provided a wonderful space in the mountains near asheville. I checked in late in the evening, getting inside was a breeze, and we felt right at home instantly. The homes installed sound system was great to have while cooking dinner and spending time inside. the back deck with the fireplace was private and relaxing, a great place to make s'mores and decompress from a day exploring the local trails and swimming holes. Both mornings we woke to the sound of birds chirping and the wind rustling through the trees. I only wish I was able to stay a few more days. A few asides very well appointed kitchen. A day trip to asheville and back wouldn't take long at all very comfortable beds

We rented this house for the tranquil location and to escape our busy life. We spent most of our time outdoors using the deck, fire pit, hot tub and chairs by the creek. The house it self was clean, laid out well, decorative but simple also. Kitchen was very user friendly and contained all you would need for a nice meal there and located close enough to other restaurants if you wanted to go out. We traveled with our dogs and they loved the outdoor area and spent many evenings by the fire relaxing. This house was perfect for just the two of us and would be great for couples looking for a quiet getaway or for a large family. Host was in constant contact with us but everything was so well done we did not need to contact or ask questions. You will not regret renting this place for your next vacation. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Black Mountain Cabin and would definitely stay again. The house was very clean and exactly as described in the advertisement. The ramp and king size bedroom on the first floor were perfect for members of my family who can’t do a lot of steps. The kitchen amenities were great and we really enjoyed the outside grill. The deck areas were beautiful with wonderful sounds of the nearby creak. Very dog friendly cabin with blankets and towels dedicated for pet use. Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and even able to accommodate an extra night stay when my travel plans changed.

Jason's house is lovely inside and out. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub and fire pit in the evenings. The house was tastefully decorated and very clean, with details in design and decor not typically seen in Aribnbs, from our experiences. Art work added to the homey feel of the house and quality materials in the house construction were immediately apparent. The kitchen appliances were of high quality. We had only a few questions to ask, and Jason was very responsive. We appreciated his quick response and offers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return if in the area again.

Jason and Andrea were the most hospitable and responsive hosts. Their home is beautiful and completely surrounded by nature making for a very serene atmosphere. My husband and I along with our dog had much needed R&R during our week at this property. The ornate details of the home are beyond any airbnb we have ever stayed at. Jason and Andrea truly took care of every little detail for us and our sweet dog. The property is pristine and exactly as pictured here. My wife, daughter and I live in Asheville, NC. We love the outdoors, traveling, music and having good times with friends and family. I work as a project manager in the tech industry and my wife is a mental health therapist. When we are not working at our jobs or on Foxie Moxie, we are usually camping, backpacking or riding mountain bikes.

We renovated Foxie Moxie with the intention to provide an experience that connects the house with the nature that surrounds it. The house has a tree theme to pay tribute to the beautiful surrounding rhododendron forest with large oak and hemlock trees. The hemlocks on the property have been treated and revived from the hemlock woolly adelgid.

Loved our stay, will be back! House and surrounding gardens are beautiful. Stocked with everything we needed for a 4 day weekend. Comfortable beds. Great coffee and espresso setup. Our toddlers loved playing in the shallow stream by the back patio and we all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and making s'mores on the patio. About 15 minutes to Lake Lure (recommend pontoon boat tour or rental) and Chimney Rock State Park (if you hike, take 4 seasons trail from the park entrance up to hickory nut falls, then loop back to the rock summit, very manageable even with kids) in one direction and to the town of Black Mountain in the other. July was actually quite hot at the Lake and in Black Mountain but it stayed cool up at the house. Wonderful getaway close to the triangle!

Jason provided a wonderful space in the mountains near asheville. I checked in late in the evening, getting inside was a breeze, and we felt right at home instantly. The homes installed sound system was great to have while cooking dinner and spending time inside. the back deck with the fireplace was private and relaxing, a great place to make s'mores and decompress from a day exploring the local trails and swimming holes. Both mornings we woke to the sound of birds chirping and the wind rustling through the trees. I only wish I was able to stay a few more days. A few asides very well appointed kitchen. A day trip to asheville and back wouldn't take long at all very comfortable beds

We rented this house for the tranquil location and to escape our busy life. We spent most of our time outdoors using the deck, fire pit, hot tub and chairs by the creek. The house it self was clean, laid out well, decorative but simple also. Kitchen was very user friendly and contained all you would need for a nice meal there and located close enough to other restaurants if you wanted to go out. We traveled with our dogs and they loved the outdoor area and spent many evenings by the fire relaxing. This house was perfect for just the two of us and would be great for couples looking for a quiet getaway or for a large family. Host was in constant contact with us but everything was so well done we did not need to contact or ask questions. You will not regret renting this place for your next vacation. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Foxie Moxie. It was very dog friendly, our pets loved playing in the creek. The house was welcoming, homey and spotless. We had a wonderful stay at the Black Mountain Cabin and would definitely stay again. The house was very clean and exactly as described in the advertisement. The ramp and king size bedroom on the first floor were perfect for members of my family who can’t do a lot of steps. The kitchen amenities were great and we really enjoyed the outside grill. The deck areas were beautiful with wonderful sounds of the nearby creak. Very dog friendly cabin with blankets and towels dedicated for pet use. Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and even able to accommodate an extra night stay when my travel plans changed.

Jason's house is lovely inside and out. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub and fire pit in the evenings. The house was tastefully decorated and very clean, with details in design and decor not typically seen in Aribnbs, from our experiences. Art work added to the homey feel of the house and quality materials in the house construction were immediately apparent. The kitchen appliances were of high quality. We had only a few questions to ask, and Jason was very responsive. We appreciated his quick response and offers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return if in the area again.

Jason and Andrea were the most hospitable and responsive hosts. Their home is beautiful and completely surrounded by nature making for a very serene atmosphere. My husband and I along with our dog had much needed R&R during our week at this property. The ornate details of the home are beyond any airbnb we have ever stayed at. Jason and Andrea truly took care of every little detail for us and our sweet dog. The property is pristine and exactly as pictured here. We will most definitely be back again and tell all our friends to visit!
