HOUSE RULES - Failure to adhere to the following house rules could mean early cancellation of your stay with no refund for any used or unused portion of the reservation.
PET POLICY:
✺ Up to two house-trained dog up to 60 lbs - must be added to the reservation, fully potty-trained and current on shots, flea and tick treatments.
✺ No dog on beds on couches
✺ Dog must be in crate if left alone
✺ Pick up dog's waste in backyard. Failure to do so, will result in $100 cleaning surcharge.
❗If you don't disclose that you will be bringing a pet and do so, the cost is $200 per pet per night.
SERVICE DOGS:

✺ Under the ADA, the dog must be under control by the handler at all times; therefore, never left alone at any time.
❗ If we discover a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities and to evict the guest(s) without further notice. In the latter case, there will be no right to a refund for unused rent.
EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECK OUT:
We're dedicated to providing a sparkling clean environment for every guest. To maintain this high standard, we have strict cleaning procedures. While we'll do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs, it might not always be possible due to our cleaning schedule.
If we can accommodate your request, there may be an additional fee to cover the extra cleaning time:
Early Check-In: $20/hour
Late Check-Out: $40/hour
Unapproved late check-outs will incur a $100 per hour fee.

✺REGISTRATION and WAIVER of LIABILITY: As this is a lakeside house with kayaks and paddleboards, and to ensure compliance with both insurance requirements and local regulations, it’s imperative that all individuals and pets staying at the property are registered, and a waiver is signed. After booking, we’ll provide you with a separate form and document to complete your reservation. Please ensure the form is fully completed and the waiver signed prior to your arrival, as these are required for access to the property.
✺ VERIFICATION: To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
✺VISITORS: allowed only upon host's prior written authorization.
STAYS 30+ DAYS: for those reservations in excess of 30 days a standard lease agreement will need to be executed to complete such reservations along with the collection of a refundable security deposit. Please request a copy prior to booking via an inquiry, if you wish to see the terms before making any decision. We will be happy to assist you with that!
✺ SUPERVISION: The property has not been child or pet proofed. Kids + pets are welcome with adult supervision. Their safe and fun stay is 100% your responsibility.
✺ PESTS+INSECTS: This is South Carolina AND you are on a lake! While we routinely provide pest control, please remember that this property is on a lake and in the woods - we cannot control nature. If you don't want bugs, mosquitoes, spiders, palmetto bugs and other pests in the house make sure you do not leave the doors open! We do not give refunds for critters found in or outside of the property. We provide routine pest and animal control. Please message us and we will address any issue promptly.
✺ OWN RISK: The house and all its amenities are provided "as is" and their use is at your own risk. Please exercise caution and inform management immediately if equipment is damaged or not functioning properly before using it. Because this is a lake house, a signed waiver of liability must be on file prior to check-in.
✺ REPORTING: Should you encounter any issue during your stay, you shall report it to owner immediately otherwise you waive your right to raise it later.
✺ FIRE PIT: Exercise caution while using the backyard fire pit. Do not leave fires unattended and DO NOT DISCARD HOT ASHES. Use provided water hose to FULLY put fire out before walking away.
✺ INSURANCE: All guests must have traveler insurance on their own for the duration of their stay.
✺ NO CRYPTO-MINING
❗This home has many smart devices for security and safety. Tampering with the internet, modem, WiFi, or any electronic device that causes devices to malfunction or come "off line" will result in immediate cancellation of the booking with no refund for any used or unused portion of the reservation.

✺REGISTRATION and WAIVER of LIABILITY: As this is a lakeside house with kayaks and paddleboards, and to ensure compliance with both insurance requirements and local regulations, it’s imperative that all individuals and pets staying at the property are registered, and a waiver is signed. After booking, we’ll provide you with a separate form and document to complete your reservation. Please ensure the form is fully completed and the waiver signed prior to your arrival, as these are required for access to the property.
✺ VERIFICATION: To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
✺VISITORS: allowed only upon host's prior written authorization.
STAYS 30+ DAYS: for those reservations in excess of 30 days a standard lease agreement will need to be executed to complete such reservations along with the collection of a refundable security deposit. Please request a copy prior to booking via an inquiry, if you wish to see the terms before making any decision. We will be happy to assist you with that!
✺ SUPERVISION: The property has not been child or pet proofed. Kids + pets are welcome with adult supervision. Their safe and fun stay is 100% your responsibility.
✺ PESTS+INSECTS: This is South Carolina AND you are on a lake! While we routinely provide pest control, please remember that this property is on a lake and in the woods - we cannot control nature. If you don't want bugs, mosquitoes, spiders, palmetto bugs and other pests in the house make sure you do not leave the doors open! We do not give refunds for critters found in or outside of the property. We provide routine pest and animal control. Please message us and we will address any issue promptly.
✺ OWN RISK: The house and all its amenities are provided "as is" and their use is at your own risk. Please exercise caution and inform management immediately if equipment is damaged or not functioning properly before using it. Because this is a lake house, a signed waiver of liability must be on file prior to check-in.
✺ REPORTING: Should you encounter any issue during your stay, you shall report it to owner immediately otherwise you waive your right to raise it later.
✺ FIRE PIT: Exercise caution while using the backyard fire pit. Do not leave fires unattended and DO NOT DISCARD HOT ASHES. Use provided water hose to FULLY put fire out before walking away.
✺ INSURANCE: All guests must have traveler insurance on their own for the duration of their stay.
✺ NO CRYPTO-MINING
❗This home has many smart devices for security and safety. Tampering with the internet, modem, WiFi, or any electronic device that causes devices to malfunction or come "off line" will result in immediate cancellation of the booking with no refund for any used or unused portion of the reservation.
