Getting around

The property is best accessed via car, as the closest public transport (Bus Stop 16) is an extremely steep 2km walk. The easiest way to get to the home is via the South Eastern Freeway. The Mount Osmond exit is a 2 minute drive from the start of the freeway, then it's only a further 3 minute drive to get to the property. Although the drive is short, the scenery is absolutely spectacular. It's a winding road and you do need to drive with caution and not get distracted by the amazing views. On arrival at the property, the driveway is easy to navigate and there is an undercover carport. 3 cars can easily fit in the driveway, and there is additional parking available at various intervals along the road. An Uber from Adelaide CBD should be approx. $20-30AUD

1) No Eating or Drinking in the bedrooms 2) Quiet Hours (no loud noise or parties after 10 p.m) 3) Turn on the exhaust fans while cooking in the kitchen and taking showers in the bathrooms. 4) If using the wood combustion heating - Be careful not to drop hot ashes on the wooden floor as it will damage the floor immediately and will incur additional cost. 5) For long stays - Vacuum regularly as the food scraps on the floor may attract cockroaches. 6) Before Check out - Make sure all dishes are washed and put away. 7) Before Check out - Make sure all doors and windows are closed and all electric appliances, lights, fans, heaters, air conditions etc. turned off. 8) Before Check out - Empty the bins and put the trash in the garbage bins outside. Notes

The property is located up the hill on a valley facing south-east. Days when the wind picks up from the south-east, it can get quite windy, so it is important to keep the doors and windows tightly closed. Note that the garden pathways and stairs can become slippery especially during and after rain. Always wear protective footwear and fully covered clothing when in garden and outside. Please note that the property is surrounded and often visited by native wildlife including but not limited to animals, birds, insects etc. that are harmless if left alone. As a guest, please be mindful of their presence and aware of your surroundings when outside. Do not leave food or food remains in the outside areas as it will attract animals specially possums during the night. If you would like to feed the birds, feel free to feed them the seeds placed in the patio area for them. Do not feed the birds anything other than the seeds.
