We were visiting Acadia National Park with our two under 3yo kids so needed someplace near enough and big enough. The apartment itself was fine when we first checked in, but the Garden was a mess of weeds and branches. We reported this and they trimmed back the weeds and left all the branches. the garden is not usable. Oddly a few of the windows are smashed and haven't been repaired. The basement is like something out of a horror movie. If the kids were not in bed I would have left. Upstairs area was fine for what it is.

This place has everything we really needed. It’s close to the amphitheater and casino but not really walking distance. Neighborhood felt safe.

We stayed at the house for 4 nights with our two girls. The first full day I messaged her and asked about getting the backyard mowed. The weeds were as tall as my 4 year old. She responded quickly that she would look into it and get back to me, she never did. On the last morning of our stay someone came and mowed the front and side of the house then left. Never mowed the back yard. Don’t posted pictures of a yard if it isn’t accessible to anyone. I honestly wouldn’t have rented the place if I had known there was no outside space.

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a pretty good time. Here’s how it went: The place was freshly painted and felt really welcoming. The bedding was clean and comfy, and they provided toiletries and a first aid kit, which was nice. The plumbing worked great, there were lots of towels, and having a private parking lot and entry was super convenient. Now, for the not-so-great stuff. The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay. There were no towel hangers or hooks for clothes, which was a bit annoying. There was a big sewage or vent hole covered with mesh in the bathroom, which felt a bit unsafe, and a few of the windows were cracked. A couple of suggestions: mirrors in the bedroom would be handy, and a bigger chopping board and a vegetable peeler in the kitchen would be great. Despite these issues, the place was clean and had some thoughtful touches. With a few improvements, it could be an awesome spot to stay.
