Palm Haven - 9th - North Beach

Welcome to Palm Haven at A Haven Away! Our home has 4 bedrooms (2 king beds + 2 queen beds). 2 mins to the beach, restaurants, and wetlands. We have a private, landscaped backyard perfect for dining and lounging.

We provide beach passes, beach gear, games, a Pack & Play, and tips for jet ski rentals and day trips. The shed has a huge TV with Netflix & HBO Max. Fully-equipped kitchen. Single-story living with 2 bedrooms, accessible shower on the ground floor.

Gorgeous, recently renovated 4 bedroom house with four large bedrooms (two on the ground floor and two upstairs) and 3 full bathrooms (one has a bench and grab bar). Use the house as your base for local activities- including fishing, sailing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, biking and more. North Beach has everything and this is the perfect spot to enjoy it all!

Host dinners outside at home using our fully equipped kitchen and our large patio table under the stars, or choose from our list of recommended restaurants or local activities. Relax afterwards on the front porch or back-deck; chill out on the beanbags in our secret library that kids love; or even burn it all off with yoga or on the bike in our exercise room!

The house can sleep 8 adults (two king beds and two queens). With 3 full bathrooms there is plenty of room for everyone. North Beach is close to big cities like Washington, DC and Baltimore- but feels a million miles away. You'll head home refreshed, relaxed and happy!

The house, fenced-in front and back yards, and TV/exercise shed are all yours.

You can park 3 cars directly in front of our white fence. There is space for additional cars around the corner of our house.

We won’t be around but we are super responsive to messages. We’ll give you a number to call in case you can’t reach us. And we will share lots of local tips for your stay!

Our street ends at the bay, about 4 blocks or 6 minutes walking. You can drive to the beach and boardwalk in 2 minutes. The Wetlands Overlook Park is around the corner, even closer. Our street does not get thru traffic so it's very quiet and safe. Perfect for kids and dogs- very little traffic.

You can walk to town, the beach, and boardwalk. You'll need a car to get here. There is also a bus to and from DC several times a day, if needed.

We allow dogs if we approve them- and have a $25 pet fee per dog per night. We have almost never rejected a dog but a few questions help ensure that our place stays clean and smelling fresh. If you'd like to bring a dog, please tell us:

(1) if they are 100% and reliably house trained
(2) the dog's age
(3) your dog's size/weight

We would really appreciate it if you could bathe your dog before visiting. There is a groomer called the Sudsy Mutt within walking distance of our place.
