This home is geared towards families who are looking to make an affordable trip to the mountains for a ski adventure. We can help you to keep your trip affordable where rentals and food are concerned, the latter being the most difficult to manage. A full kitchen and affordable non-resort options can remove most of that pain, yet one of the 3 ski areas is only 10 minutes from our door. Note that we are not adverse to any type of group but rather we are a family of 4 and understand the needs of that group well. Being the group leader can be taxing and we hope to help you actually enjoy your trip instead of simply leading it.



The home sits directly between the two Snowshoe entrances Directly across from The Raven Golf Course! 2 Loft areas are located in the A frame vaulted ceiling(chateau style). There are two loft bedrooms and a couch. There are 2 beds with one in each of the lofts(separate bedding areas separated by a wall), and a couch with blankets on the first floor. Downstairs is a great room with a full kitchen, dining room table, living room and a separate full bath. There are two skylights. The walls are made out of six inch logs as seen in pictures,and the ceiling is knotty pine. Stairs are actual spruce beams and logs. Electric fireplace in living room.



Unit is well maintained and clean. Very rustic and cozy(downright nice)!! There is a full kitchen with pans and such for your use. It is well stocked but you may need to bring specialty or particular items. Floors are Slate, Hickory,Cedar and Carpet. The hot tub is next door. Parking is in front of the unit. No more long hikes from the parking lot! No hallways.



There is a 36' TV w/ Smart TV downstairs and a 23' Flat Screen w/ Sat TV on 2nd floor. Most of my renters are families and as a father I know the kids tend to hijack the TV so I split them up when needed. Each TV offers streaming options.



This is a fairly quiet location and is very close to the slopes. It is located in very wooded area. You can literally hike for days out of the front door. Cass, Big Springs,and other desirable locations are nearby. Affordable grocery and eateries are close to home. We detail local info to help you navigate a very spread out resort at an affordable price

Home is conveniently located close to both entrances to Snowshoe and the surrounding area. It was clean and met the needs of our family of four. The owner (Billy) made himself readily available to provide information or address any needs we had. Be aware that the loft area of the home has low overhead and is mostly suitable for kids.

Bill’s place is perfect for a weekend at Snowshoe! Great being so close to the slopes, we went back and forth as needed. Bill worked on the roads as soon as the snow set in and cleared the walk ways and steps which was a big help. The sleds were a hit! Great experience! Definitely will book again!

Cute, cozy & convenient! We rented Bill’s place for adult weekend away - we are not snow sports people, just wanted a safe place to relax & celebrate a birthday - & attempt to avoid Covid. Per Bill’s suggestion, we packed all our own food & booze. The kitchen had most of the things we needed, enough space for 6 adults to lounge around & was clean!! Just a few miles drive to the resort/village area - but nice to not be in the middle of the chaos. No issues finding parking to go snow tubing. I highly recommend printing off whatever directions, instructions & Bill’s welcome packet prior to leaving home - cell service with Verizon was pretty much non-existent once we got to WV. Wifi & the house phone @ the house worked great though - mainly for FT & texting with iPhones. We would def rent this place again!

4.5 miles from Top of the World. We are on the west side and use the rear entrance to access this area. Silvercreek can be accessed using either entrance or by taking the shuttle from the Inn.
