Our Black Bear Lodge is back! This brand new 4 bed 3 bath cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests and is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the heart of Chalet Village, 25 minutes from Ober Mountain Ski and Amusement Park. Located 1.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 30 minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and 45 minutes from Knoxville Tennessee. We are delighted and humbled to be bringing back Our Black Bear Lodge in a totally new and different way.

The Space
This luxury cabin offers a modern rustic feel to guests and features amenities such as a hot tub, movie theater, retro arcade game and more! Located in Chalet Village, guests will also have access to the seasonal community amenities such as the pool, the tennis courts and more. Everything in this property was designed with you in mind!

The View
Our Black Bear Lodge offers a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountains that can be enjoyed from both the bottom floor and main floor decks all year round.

The Rooms
Every room has a theme. The Master Bedroom is an homage to the great outdoors. The Loft Bedrooms are fraternal twins donned in red and green plaids respectively. The basement room pays tribute to the great Dolly Parton in a tasteful and understated way.

The cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Our Black Bear Lodge is located at the end of cul-de-sac in the heart of Chalet Village, 25 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. Yes, Chalet Village, has 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September.

What a wonderful place to spend Thanksgiving with our family! Marisela was a great host and has thought of just about everything a guest would need. It was perfect for our size group of 6 adults and two children - we loved it and hope we get the chance to come back again.

Beautiful cabin with great views. Plenty of space for the 7 of us. Good proximity to the town of gatlinburg. Be prepared for windy narrow mountain roads to get up to the cabin.

This cabin is beautiful with so many fun things to do—hot tub, pool table, arcade game, multiple decks with great views and a gas fire pit. We saw a bear when looking out the kitchen window, and also when driving on the road the cabin is on (mom and 3 cubs). Location is great with a very short drive into Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or the National park. Highly recommend!

Marisela's home was absolutely beautiful. It was well resourced and we had everything we needed to stay comfortably. Our group had an amazing stay! The place is cute, clean and has stunning views! Our group even saw a trio of bears (from a safe distance) which as a win in our books! The hosts were welcoming and had clear instructions. Everything was in working order, and well stocked. They have lots of fun ‘extras’ - like corn hole for the deck! I would recommend this cabin to a friend!

Our Black Bear Lodge was the perfect stay! The cabin was exceptionally clean and even more beautiful in person than it looks in the photos. Every detail caters to guest comfort, from the QR code for automatic WiFi connection to the ample seating in every gathering space. The smart features within this cabin were a nice modern touch not often found in the area’s rental properties and the outdoor space was unmatched. I’d highly recommend Our Black Bear Lodge to anyone looking for a luxury cabin experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Our Black Bear Lodge!! The house is stunning and the view cannot be beat! There’s so much to do in the house and everything is great in the house! From fun and games to peaceful serenity! It was such a fabulous stay and hope to make it out there again in the future without any hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay here. This house was absolutely stunning and the views were better than the pictures. There was more than enough room for our family of five and the house was spotless. We loved the pool table, hot tub and home theater. Most destinations were 15 minutes or less from the property. We would definitely stay here again!

We have a numeric pad that unlocks the door. The access code will be the last 4 digits of the phone number used in the reservation.

To unlock: Press and hold the screen with 3 fingers to activate. Two numbers will appear. Click those 2 numbers in any order. Then, input your code and the door should unlock.

To lock: Tap the screen with two or three fingers to activate and touch the lock icon in the lower right hand corner.

House Rules

This property has a maximum occupancy of 8 people (including children older than 2 year of age). You will be charged $165 per unannounced guest and/or can be removed from the property.

NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS! NO SMOKING and/or "vaping" ! No Exceptions! Minimum age of primary renter is 25. Maximum of 8 guests. No youth groups or sports teams.

This property has outside cameras for your safety and our peace of mind. Any tampering with the cameras will result in a charge of $500.

Payment Policy

If booking is less than 30 days prior to arrival date, full payment is required. Otherwise 50% deposit is required to book, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

Refundable Damage Deposit

Deposit to be refunded after housekeeping has completed her duties and no later than 5 days post checkout.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel 30 days before arrival date without penalties. If you need to cancel 15 days before arrival date 50% of total payment will be refunded. If you booked 30 days or less before your arrival you have 48 hours to cancel to get a full refund.
