Check In: 2PM - 6PM
Guests arriving after 20h00, please make use of our shuttle service; the driver then brings the guests all the way to the rooms that they have booked.
Please have your rental car delivered to the Guesthouse the next morning.
We will then need your flight details and arrival time to book the shuttle
Airport transfers can be arranged at an additional cost of R400.00 per trip for 1 person, including VAT.
Airport transfers can be arranged at an additional R460.00 for 2 people, including VAT.
For more than two people the additional cost is R60.00 per person.
Please notify us of your time of arrival and flight details to ensure effective service during check-in.
Please let us know an estimated arrival time at the Guest House when coming with your own transport/car.
Our office closes at 20:00 at the latest - unless a prior arrangement has been made.
Late arrival with own transport is charged R350.00 per room for arrivals after 20.00 and before check-in at 21h00 on check-in day.
After 21h00 till midnight and beyond, arrivals are charged R450 per check-in.
This is for the staff to get home safely after hours as no buses or trains are running at this time of the night.

Rules and regulations:
In the event of premature departure, the full extent of stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.
Refunds are at the discretion of management and dependant on the ability to re-let rooms.
It is herewith acknowledged that the guest is responsible for all damage caused. Such damage will be debited to the guest's credit card.
Please note that all bedrooms and bathrooms are non-smoking areas.

General indemnity:
I, the guest of this establishment, hereby waive all claims of whatsoever nature, whether being of negligent nature or not, arising against the owner of this establishment, their associates, servants, employees and/or any person connected whether directly or indirectly with the running of this establishment. I hereby am entitled to and waive all rights to claim for and on behalf of my fellow family members, guests or invitees which I might have accompanied me.
I am aware that the use of the facilities of this establishment is at my own risk. Any claim arising out of harm, injury, death or loss or damage of property, suffered whilst being a guest or visitor of this establishment and whether arising from an act of omission or commission on the part of those hereby, is indemnified or anyone of them.
Visitor for guests residing at Olaf's Guesthouse is only allowed from 9.00 am to 20.00 in the public areas, visitors are not to stay or use the guest rooms.
Extra Guest(s): If a Guest wishes to bring an extra guest or guests, he/she should register the guest(s) at the Reception and make full payment of room accommodation for the guest(s) before checking-in to the room(s).

Payment Policy
Bookings that are made 7 days and less before arrival pay 100%
otherwise 30% deposit on booking day and the rest 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
The general rule for cancellations before arrival is:
- Less than 7 days forfeit the complete accommodation account.
- From 7 to 14 days, forfeit 75 % of the accommodation account.
- From 14 to 21 days, forfeit 50 % of the accommodation account.
- From 21 to 28 days, forfeit 25 % of the accommodation account
- In the event of premature departure, we charge for the full original booking
Rooms that are not occupied by 18h00 will be seen as a NO SHOW unless a prior arrangement has been made.
