First let me say...John's home was absolutely gorgeous the pictures don't do the reality justice!..I originally booked this ABB 6 months in advance with the intention of celebrating my 40 & Fabulous birthday 😀 with a few of closet my family and friends...unfortunately I lost my baby brother(33) who was very dear to me, on May 8th to a tragic motorcycle accident, he should have been with us💔what started as a grown folk turn up trip, ending up being a celebration of life trip...John's home allowed the solace and privacy we so needed, the beach is directly behind the house we were able to mourn and celebrate peacfully the energy felt right...the house is fully stocked with everything you'll need!..we stayed a full week...cooked breakfast, dinners, multiple times and also cooked out on the back patio..beds were very comfortable and the AC system was a wonderful retreat from the heat..oh and, the hot tub overlooking the ocean hands down was my favorite spot! I will definitely book again!

Pictures don’t do this property justice! it felt more like a mini resort than a house, with all the conveniences you could ask for. The beach is quick 5min drive and the ocean views from our bedroom were absolutely amazing! We were a party of 7 and the house was more than spacious to accommodate all of us, although we spent most of our time outside between the private pool and the covered patio. Our hosts John and Zinnia were great and very responsive. They had a birthday cake ready when we checked in since we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Zinnia did a walk through of the house with us, which is handy given all the different amenities the property has to offer.

First time back to Puerto Rico in many years. My family's originally from the central part of Puerto Rico, so I was delighted to bring my family to the island. Beautiful spacious home, with lots of amenities. We especially enjoyed the pool with slide, outdoor relaxation area, the tennis court, and walking along the beach with my kids looking for seaglass. We felt very safe, and it was a great spot to travel around the island. Some great and scenic beaches right nearby, and San Juan is only about 45 min away. I'm an avid runner, and was able to run on a local track a 5 min drive away. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay- and important to note how responsive and friendly John and Zinnia were. Highly recommended, esp for large groups.

Absolute paradise! The home is well appointed with everything you could need- really no reason to even leave the property. The host has many thoughtful inclusions: spices, cooking supplies, cervesa, toiletries, games, beach gear, etc. The location is amazing. Less than an hour from SJU. The BEST beach ever (Playa Nuerto) is 10 minutes away, and there are several nice restaurants within minutes. The area has a quaint local feel, but everyone is so welcoming and kind. Bonus that Walgreens, CVS, is within 15 minutes. Book it- you won’t be disappointed!!!

Overall the place was nice to host 10 people! Lots of extra little things (beach toys for kids, outdoor bar, etc) that make it a very convenient place to travel to. Fond the location was pretty far from most things we wanted to do, but was amazing be able to walk on the beach every morning.

This place was perfect for us. With a 1-year-old in our group, we spent almost the entire week at the property, so we appreciated all the amenities and were grateful for the space to roam with her in such a beautiful setting. The layout of bedrooms and bathrooms also worked well. The property was well-stocked, from pool toys to kitchen equipment and spices. We ended up making most of our meals, including several dinners on the grill. John's guide book also steered us to some great local restaurants. I highly recommend this place. It's absolutely lovely and has a great host, who was very responsive.

This was a family trip, 10 of us went. It is about 45 minutes from airport. We arrived after midnight. Checkin was very easy. The rooms were very good, each has its own ac and fans. Large kitchen table was very nice. The 2 bedrooms on the north side facing pool has its own access to the outside. The top floor bedrooms have the top patio to sit on. There is a speaker system in the house also. The pool was awesome, enjoyed the waterfall more than we thought we would. We did most of our cooking on the covered area outside. It has a speaker system, tv, grill, refrigerator, table. We literally cooked 90% of meals outside. Rarely went indoors. I cannot say enough about John and zinnia. They were awesome at communicating and went above and beyond as hosts. Would definitely stay there again and deal with John. Very good people.

Our family of ten had a great stay at John’s place. We slept great and especially enjoyed the second floor porch and the patio/courts. We used the snorkeling gear on the calm side at Puerto Nuevo. This was a highlight! The house was a great home base for exploring the island. We were always glad to pull through the gate after going out adventuring. Can’t wait to go back.

Getting around

Highly recommended to rent a car to move around in Puerto Rico. Uber is not available outside of the metro area and taxis will be expensive. • Distance from San Juan Airport (SJU) to Vega Baja 1hr • Distance from Aguadilla (BQN) to Vega Baja 1.5 - 2 Hr We have a guidebook with recommendations for local restaurants and tourist attractions.

Check In: 4PM - 7PM

On the day of arrival we will coordinate a time to meet you for an initial walk through of the property. If your arrival is outside check in window guests will do a self check in and we will coordinate the walk through for the next day.

Check Out: 11AM

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

The booking person responsible for the reservation must be at least 25. A rental agreement will be sent via an email link from Rocket Lawyer for the responsible person to sign 72 hours after payment in full is made.

Maximum occupancy: 10

We can host up to 12 but it is an additional 200 per day per guest. The living room sofa couch would be used for extra guests above 10

House Rules

Additional rules"Ocean Front Villa Entrance Rules:
1. Respect the property as you would your own.
2. Events may be allowed with host approval; fees may apply.
3. Before checkout, please clean up after cooking.
4. Dispose of trash in outdoor bins daily.
5. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. 6. $500 smoking penalty for violations. 7. Use outdoor shower to prevent sand in the pool.
8. Care for towels and sheets; avoid stains.
9. Property for registered guests only; no outside visitors without prior consent.
10. Leave BBQ areas clean after use.
11. Maximum 2 pets with $500 fee per pet; no unsupervised pets.
12. Pets/service animals must not be left unsupervised on the property."
13. Animals are not allowed on furniture; a $500 cleaning fee applies for animal hair on furniture.
14. Late checkout without prior approval incurs a $100 fee per 30 minutes.
15. Roll up roll-down shades after use.
16. No glass allowed in the pool area.
17. Swim at your own risk.
18. Turn off non-essential electrical items when not in use to conserve power.
19. Do not use knives to open coconuts; seek professional help at designated areas.
20. Pools are cleaned before arrival; no service during stay unless requested for a $100 fee per service. Guests can use the pool net for minor debris removal."

Payment Policy

We will email you a payment link to pay for a reservation in full upon booking. Reservations are nonrefunbable, please do not book if you are unsure and always purchase travel insurance.

Refundable Damage Deposit

After you check out the cohost will check the property for damage. If there is no damage security deposit will be returned within 15 days.

Cancellation Policy

Please do not book if you are not sure of your travel plans, all reservations are nonrefundable upon booking. Please purchase travel insurance in case your plans must change.

Notes

Please do not go onto the roof area, there are signs posted for all off limit areas. Please only smoke in designated area. Both pools have Jacuzzi functions and the oceanfront hot tub is heated by a solar blanket and solar water heater all year long.
