Amazing views and wonderful host

We had an amazing time staying here! This is our 6th annual friends trip to the Lake Lure area. We all agreed this was the by far our favorite view! The host was also amazing and checked in to make sure everything was running smooth and that we were enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend staying here! We can’t wait to be back!

This home is absolutely gorgeous & the view is breathtaking. Pictures don’t do either one justice. Unfortunately, our trip got interrupted by Hurricane Helene which was both scary & devastating for the community. Christina went above & beyond to try to check on us, ensure we had info for the generator, flashlights, supplies/etc. She is an amazing host! I hope the town of Lake Lure recovers from this tragic storm soon so others can enjoy this beautiful place! Would definitely recommend

I can’t say enough about the beauty of this place! I stayed here with 7 other ladies for a long weekend and it did not disappoint- The views are absolutely breathtaking. Having the resort access provided a place for us to cool down at the beach. There was plenty of space for all of us to have privacy while still enjoying our time together. Every space was well equipped. We had everything we needed to prepare multiple big meals. The beds were comfortable and everything worked as described. Christina was WONDERFUL at communicating and made us feel so welcome when we arrived. All of our questions were answered quickly. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and all of the women agreed it would be a lovely place to bring the whole family back to (or perhaps to host another ladies weekend 🙃). One of my favorite stays!

Family Get Together

Our 3 grown sons and their families (4 super grandkids!) joined my husband and I to celebrate a special birthday for my husband. This property was exactly as advertised - the views are stunning, the home is spacious and Christina, the host made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the week. I highly recommend this property for large families or multiple friends. Christina is the most responsive host I have ever worked with. All 12 of us loved our stay and would gladly return.

Everything and so much more

Luxury Mountaintop Cabin was utterly perfect for our family. The views were more beautiful than any picture can show. Every part of the house was geared to comfort and fun! Christine could not have been more gracious to our family when we had car problems and other issues.

We booked this house for our yearly family get together with 2 other families - a total of 6 adults and 7 children. Everyone loved this house! It has a perfect setup for younger (3-8) and older kids (9-12). I think they actually under sold how awesome the house on Airbnb. The view is incredible, one of the best views of the lake and valley. Easy access to the club pool and beach. The hot tub was a favorite for kids and adults. The shuffle board was a lot of fun, we had family tournaments. The living room and deck were the central gathering point for the families and it was perfect. It had enough places for older kids to go off to read or play games. The grill and blackstone were awesome add-ons we used almost every day. The kitchen area was perfect for group cooking and socializing. Christina was incredibly responsive and helpful. Our group trip in a new location every year throughout the US and this house made it one of the best. We will recommend this place to all our friends.

Perfect 3 Generation Getaway

We had a 5+ star experience with this incredible home and the host. We were grandparents traveling with two of our adult children and their families. It was obvious that this is someone’s beloved second home by the high end furnishings and all of the great little touches that made the stay truly unique. Home highlights were the stunning view, the three levels giving each family space and privacy, and the outdoor amenities including a hot tub, water feature, fire ring and plenty of seating, including a kids picnic table. The host provided a very informative guest book ahead of time, so we walked in knowing what to expect. The host was very prompt in answering texts when we had questions. Having passes to the nearby Rumbling Bald Resort gave us easy access to a nice beach, pools and mini golf. We stayed 4 nights and felt like we were leaving too soon. Don’t hesitate to nail down this property if it is available to you.

Amazing getaway

What a fantastic home!! The view of the lake and mountains alone is worth it. But the house offers so much more — all the amenities and indoor and outdoor spaces to make it a perfect spot for a family or group vacation. Host is amazing too — incredibly friendly and great communication. Don’t hesitate to book this one. You won’t regret it!

Hands down, best hospitality

My siblings and parents try to do a large, all-family trip every four years and as our family grows, it becomes more challenging finding a house to accommodate 12 of us. Five kids and seven adults. This house was perfect and gave us all space to spread out when we needed to but also gather together. I have stayed at my fair share of vacation rentals and I have to say, hands down, this was the best-equipped house. Any kitchen utensil you could need, they had. Plenty of extra blankets and linens, board games for entertainment, scavenger hunts for the kids, a visitors guide which outlined everything perfectly was on hand. The house was perfectly labeled so you knew what light switch controlled each room and light fixture, instructions on how to use certain appliances, and even steps were labeled if it was slightly taller than the other steps on the deck. The owner was so incredibly responsive and helpful and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay. This was our first time staying this part of North Carolina and having access to Rumbling Bald Resort was a priority for us. The staff at the resort were welcoming and helpful. Lastly, the pictures don’t do the view justice. It was simply beautiful and I kept saying how incredibly it would be to visit in the fall and I would love to do a girls trip in the future! Thank you, Newskis, for sharing this special place with our family.

We fell in love with our mountaintop villa the moment we walked in. There's just something about that mountain air and these insane mountain views...
