This upscale couple’s sanctuary is designed to offer maximum style and comfort. Our modern mountain cabin has one king-sized bedroom, adjacent to a luxurious main bathroom and dressing area. Our beautiful open concept living, dining and kitchen area opens to a 35-foot long deck overlooking a pond. Our best hidden feature: the HEATED TILE FLOOR throughout.

Situated between two ponds and named for a popular video game (see our floor plan), the Tetris House boasts high ceilings and expansive windows. Master bedroom, living room and kitchen are all interconnected in uniquely defined spaces.

Enjoy a full Bosch kitchen alongside custom-built Thomasville Cabinets. 1200 SF of heated tile floors will keep you cool in summer, cozy in winter. Step off the pond-side deck to enjoy time at the fire pit (ample firewood available), or soak in our brand new hot tub.

You will have full access to the house, deck, it’s yard and all the amenities described for your own private use.

We have 4 acres in the City of Hendersonville, and we are working on site quite often. We are friendly without being nosy. We want you to enjoy your vacation!

We are located in a semi-suburban area of Western North Carolina’s second largest city. It’s still a small town and we are walking distance to a popular pizzeria. For everything else, you will probably use your car. World class hiking and mountain biking will take you through the mountains and across the creeks and waterfalls to our most breathtaking outdoor adventures. If you’re planning on Asheville and the Biltmore Estate, give yourself a half hour to get there.

We offer ample parking at our home plus an an EV charger. Please let us know you need to use it. There is no charge.

We are owner operated, no outside management.

We have a number of animals on site including fenced goats and free range kitties and chickens. Unfortunately, we are not able to host other animals.

We absolutely loved Patrick's place! It was homey and exactly what we were looking for. Hendersonville was great and had so many good places to visit and had amazing experiences at everywhere we ate at. We also loved seeing the goats, they were all so friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

I travel a lot, been to 50 countries and I know when I’m searching I always want to find the best place. Well this is it!!! The house was extremely relaxing, very clean and comfortable. But what made this stay so much above the rest was the fact that they have these goats behind the house. Now if you love animals like I do, you will love this. I reached out to the host and asked if I could pet the goats and see them and he made the time to do it. The host didn’t have to make the time and I would think they can’t always, but they were able to when I was there and that meant so much to me. This is probably the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Ever. The front porch is private, spacious & relaxing. Was so impressed & comfortable and just had a great time. Patrick and his wife were so friendly and cool and I would recommend this place without question. I absolutely want to come back and stay here again.

Patrick and Diane’s place was a wonderful home away from home. Cozy, clean and well appointed. Enjoyed the farm fresh eggs they left. The hot tub was ready to use and the back porch a great place to relax and cook out. The bed is very comfortable and the heated floors also a great touch. Location is great and super convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Will definitely come back here again!

Beautiful property and loved the hot tub and goats! Felt that right amount of luxury and vacation but homeyness at the same time. I wish we could’ve stayed longer, I was sad to leave and am still feeling some withdrawals 😅 definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful visit! Tetris House is immaculately outfitted and on a peaceful property w chickens, goats and a friendly kitty cat. Hot tub and expansive porch were highlights. Hosts were warm and helpful! Only nit is traffic noise on busy highway during morning and evening “rush hours”

Beautiful, newly built "cabin". Lots of amenities, we didn't cook but they have a really nice big kitchen and multiple grilling options outside on the deck. It's not a secluded place, and pretty close to the road and neighbors, but they describe it that way and we were never disturbed by anything. The hosts were very nice, talked to Diane for a while right when we got there and played with their goats. If you like animals, that's a definite plus, it was a huge positive for my wife.

Great stay at Patrick and Diane’s! The heated floors were especially nice for a chilly weekend. Kitchen was well stocked with needed cookware and the Komodo grill was enjoyable. Comfortable seating and sleeping! Definitely hope to return!

Tetris House was the PERFECT place to getaway and relax. The house has everything you could possibly need inside. The heated floors were fantastic! We loved how much natural light came in from all of the windows, yet you could pull the blinds if you needed privacy. We were able to get to everything in downtown Hendersonville within ten minutes. Patrick and Diane did a great job with the place and were wonderful host.

House Rules

Though we are true animal lovers, we apologize for being unable to host your animals. Our property is unfenced and located on a busy road. There are no bathroom opportunities for animals. For these reasons and others, we would encourage you to filter your search for a pet-friendly stay if you must travel with an animal.

Please note: This is a very small, antique log cabin, with limited space. There is a queen size bed and a full bed in the loft. We do not have room for blow up mattresses. We cannot accommodate or accept party sizes greater than four.
The minimum booking age requirement is 21 yrs old.
We respectfully request all reservations to include a current and recognizable photo on your listing profile, your legal name and the names of your guests listed on the reservation. We do not accept third party reservations. Please contact us if there are special circumstances or questions.
