Welcome to MY BLUE HEAVEN

Book your next getaway in luxury! This Historic East End Galveston home is ready for your relaxing stay. Enjoy the heated private pool, take a stroll to the beach, grab a bite nearby, see the area attractions (Pier, Strand), admire the area architecture, the choice is yours! This home is walking distance to both the beach and downtown Galveston (The Strand). Your location could get no more ideal!

This 3000SF home has all that you need to stay a few days or for a month or more. We left no detail without thought or attention. Our hope is for our guests to have their best Galveston stay and to come back again and again.

You will find smart TVs throughout the home, a Sonos sound system, high speed internet, digital locks, patio party lighting, games, chess table, beach chairs (4), rolling cooler, pool/beach towels, outdoor shower, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and entertaining (coffee pot, Keurig, blender, Instant Pot, air fryer, Sodastream, etc), a Little Book Library to take and share books, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy your vacation .

For sleeping, the house is equipped with 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed, and 1 bedroom with a queen and 2 full size beds. Additionally, the master has a queen air mattress in the closet and the other two bedrooms each have a twin rollaway bed in the closets. The master also has an en suite bathroom.

Notes: All bedrooms are upstairs and access into house will require at least 3 -4 steps to access from front or rear. Pool is not a full size pool and has an occupancy restriction of 5-6 people max. House is not child proof and guests are expected to supervise their children at all times especially around the interior stairs, french doors, and pool.

Guests have access to the entire home, front and back yards, and pool. The only exceptions are locked supply and owner’s closests (under stairs, at top of stairs, locked barn door in Master bath) and attic. The home features multiple living rooms, full kitchen with island, dining area, laundry area, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, outdoor shower, heated pool with party lighting, patio with seating and party lighting, parking pad (for 1 vehicle), free street parking.

Home is in the the historic East End of Galveston. It is centrally located between the Seawall and the Strand. Everything is very walkable and/or a short drive. Parking is free on the street. We recommend parking along the side of the home (but watch for the high curbs when passengers exit). There is space for one vehicle inside the back gate.

Your can walk or drive to area attractions, downtown, and the beach. We also have nearby bike rental or golf cart rental options to add some fun to your stay.

Please read our house rules and guidelines. This is our family vacation home and we expect our guests to treat our home as you would your own. We require our guests to sign our rental agreement. Any desire to host an event at this property should be sent with an inquiry prior to instant booking so that your plans can be approved and an appropriate fee can be set. Parties are not allowed. Pool Heating is a fee based option @ $50/day. Pool set to 85-86 Max. $600 refundable Security Deposit required per reservation.

Our family purchased this home in 2020 as the Pandemic sent us looking for a drivable destination to spend family time from our home in Parker (DFW area), TX. This unique property has the perfect layout for our large family to spread out and yet be together!

We absolutely love the Emerald Coast and the location of this home. We checked all the boxes for our dream beach home with this one. From the private heatable pool to the close prximity to the beach, stores, and restaurants, Gigi's Sunshine met our every expectation. House Rules
Must sign and return our rental agreement prior to check-in with a copy of guests's ID included. This must be completed within 48 hours of booking or reservation is subject to cancellation. All house rules are included in the rental agreement so please read carefully. $600 Damage Deposit Required. Pool Fee is an additional charge @ $40/day and min $100/rental. No unregistered guests allowed to stay overnight. Security cameras are for the safety and well-being of our guests and the homeowner’s investment and should never be tampered with. Guests must abide by house rules and check in/check out instructions found in Rental Agreement. The house does not have child protective safety features. Children must be supervised at ALL TIMES and especially in the pool area. Gates around pool/yard must be kept closed at all times. Under NO circumstances may more than the maximum of persons identified on the guest list occupy the premises. Violation of this policy will automatically result in forfeiture of full rental payment and security deposit.
