Back by popular demand! Your family will have a delightful time staying in this 2-story, 3-bedroom traditional family ski chalet. The first floor features an open and airy kitchen, dining, and living area. The well equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar and a dishwasher, and the living room includes a nice woodstove (firewood provided) to cozy up to after a long day of conquering the mountain. A sliding door leads to a large wraparound deck! Also featured is one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed, and a ¾-bath that is accessible from both the kitchen and the bedroom. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals a landing with a work station, one bedroom with 1-set of bunk beds, (full sized upper, and queen sized lower) and another bedroom with 1-set of full sized bunk beds. Both bedrooms are flanked by a ¾-bath with individual bedroom access. Just outside the front door is a small porch with a gas grill. The monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 10-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).

IMPORTANT **Just so you know, while the property is not pet-friendly for Guests, the property owners do have pets. Persons who are particularly susceptible to pet allergens should take this under advisement and reserve accordingly.

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!

Getting around

FROM SEATTLE (WA): Take Interstate-5 (North) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn right at the end of the off ramp, and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 2-hours.

FROM VANCOUVER, B.C (Canada): Take Highway 99 (South) to the Peace Arch Crossing at the Canada / USA border exchange, then take Interstate-5 (South) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn left at the end of the off ramp and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 1.5-hours.

Refundable Damage Deposit
A Damage Deposit is not required; however, damages will be charged to the Guests credit card.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is received a minimum of 21-days or greater prior to our guest(s) scheduled date of arrival, Mt. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment*; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount*.

*Unless the vacation property can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.

Winter Holiday Bookings and Cancellations – All bookings for the period of December 15 – January 2 require payment in full by December 1st. If cancelled on or prior to November 15th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater). From November 16th through November 30th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be forfeited unless the home(s) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply. On or after December 1st, guests will forfeit the entire rental amount unless the home(s) can be re-booked, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
