Anna's home was very comfortable for the two of us and our two dogs. We drove a small truck and had no issues with the driveway, but anyone with a low vehicle should be aware of the short, steep, gravel entry. When we had trouble with the A/C thermostat, Anna responded quickly and was very helpful. The location also offers convenient access to the main road.

We spent the Fourth of July holiday at Anna's home to visit friends and family in the area. Anna was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and provided updates on things to do during our visit. The house was perfect, clean, and ready for us upon our arrival. We even had a little "thank you" card waiting for us when we arrived. The driveway is a little difficult to drive up when entering from the road; however, the top portion of the driveway is asphalt and once you get through the rocks at the bottom is not bad. We found it easier to pass the driveway if coming in from the main road, turn around a short distance up the road, and enter from the other way. We highly recommend visiting Anna's home if you are coming to the area. It is convenient for boating, restaurants, and surrounding activities. Thank you, again Anna for being a great host and allowing us to stay in your home. We look forward to future visits!

Our family took a trip here for the summer and had a really great time! Anna was a very nice host who was always quick to respond to our every need. My sister and I stayed in the kids room and thought the books and toys laid out were a nice touch. We even made our mom read us bedtime stories for old times sake! The fire pit was excellent, the fireplace worked great, and everything was very smooth and easy. And the beach essentials came in handy! We definitely want to come back every summer!

Anna is a great host. The house had 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms...something we all loved! The property is nice. We didn't make it out to the fire pit but it was a nice space. Everything was as described. Anna thoughtfully provided bathroom supplies, etc. I would recommend this Airbnb to a friend.

I had an amazingly relaxing and stress free stay from beginning to end. Plenty of space to relax inside or read a book on the front porch as the sun sets. Close enough to all things you might need but also extremely private. The fire pit in back with benches and chairs really added a nice touch on the cool spring nights. I wish I could have stayed longer. I absolutely love this area and will certainly check for this place my next time i plan on staying in Hiawassee. Michael

Super cute house - by far the nicest in the surroundings! Place is very clean and cozy. Kitchen was stocked with the necessities which was great for us, since we cooked meals instead of going out. Beds are comfortable and rooms are super cute. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future!

Lovely cabin tucked away up a hill- driveway is a bit steep but manageable. Cozy well appointed cabin. Incredibly well equipped kitchen which made meal prep super easy. Thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend at your lovely cabin. Bring some firewood and sit by the fire pit!

Anna was very responsive and friendly. But the location was mediocre. The pics of this stay made the location seem much larger than it actually was. Bedrooms are of decent size, but the public spaces are small. A bit tiny for 6 adults, and 2 dogs. (we only had 6 adults) The kitchen and living room are compact. Some would say cozy... I would say tight. The kitchen is a small 2.5-3ft wide corridor - only one person can really be in the kitchen at once. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, knives, and cutlery. The real appeal of this location is that it is located near the lake. However, that is not visible from this unit - the images portrayed gave me the impression that the lake was within walking distance or view. That was not the case. It was an okay stay. I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars.

From check in to check out, we could not have been happier. First and most important for me was the accessibility. It was great! The house itself was lovely and had everything you could need or want to stay for almost 3 weeks as we did. Thank you for a great work-cation!

We have been fans of the Blue Ridge mountains since our family set foot on a hiking trail in Nathala National Forest. Finally had an opportunity to buy our vacation home here, too. We’re very excited to share our lovely home with like-minded travelers. Mountain air and good company are free, while our Hilltop Chalet is priced so you can enjoy it without breaking a wallet. You can feel out loving touches and thoughtful design throughout the cabin, we love to cook-so the kitchen is stocked for y’all! Outdoor firepit that my husband built is perfect for late night s’mores and conversations. Hike the Appalachian trail, or sip wine in the nearby wineries-this wonderful mountain town has it all! Near the grand Lake Chatuge, where you can fish with the fishing gear we provide. For dining and sightseeing , visit nearby Bavarian town of Helen, and enjoy authentic German food, fair, and crafts! We respond quickly to any questions, and would love to host y’all!
