Please note photos of the driveway. It is typical for Gatlinburg and the area. It’s not super steep in that we can get in with our Rav4 hybrid, but it has a hump that can be slick so be careful if walking it.

We stayed there for 2 days and we enjoyed being there. the surroundings were beautiful. The house was cozy and there is everything we need at the place. Thank you for having us.

This place was perfect for 2 small families. The kitchen was well appointed, the game room was a lot of fun, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and inviting. The driveway was a challenge but we made it in a RAV4 and minivan.

The home was beautiful and just as described to a T! There was plenty of room for everyone. The driveway is definitely steep and holds one vehicle up by the house, although there is room for another at the bottom of the drive. The home is very easy to get to and is on a quiet road.

In a word magnificent… Such beautiful surroundings and only 10 min to the center of town. So much to do and such a nice place. Even the drive to the place was excellent. They were very helpful and proactive in communicating. Would love to visit again!

We had a great time at the Moonshine Manor! We had 8 people (we all work together) and this place was perfect for a larger group. Plenty of activities to do at the cabin and 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were super clean. The driveway can be a bit tricky but plenty of parking. We saw several black bears and plenty of wildlife. Overall had the best time and would book again! Thanks Kevin and Melanie!

Beautiful home and good area, great size home . Clean and a lot to do just in the home. We loved it. The only thing we didn’t care for is the walk up and down the hill. We had one older lady fall. She’s fine though. None of the cars would make it up the hill but other then that the stay was perfect

Response:I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and got to see the local bears. :) Yes that peagravel driveway is tricky when it’s wet. You have to put some gas to it. Our little hybrid can do it when wet but it took some practice. Haha It’s on my list to have it repaved with concrete or asphalt as soon as we can.

Kevin and Melanie were very fast with all responses. Very friendly as well. We will definitely be staying with them again!! We had a mama bear and her 3 cubs visit a few times. There is also a couple bear that frequent the pizza place up the road. The beds are so comfortable! We all slept like a babies!! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait until next year!! Memories last a lifetime and we definitely made some great ones!!

Moonshine Manner was a great place for our stay. It was not perfect as it was obvious a few things were still under minor construction (as was noted in the listing) but it was all minor stuff that didn't really affect our stay. The layout of the house is a little small for gathering but plenty of room for sleeping comfortably. The hot tub was the highlight for us as it is brand new and quite large and comfortable. The pool/ping pong table was also very nice. We utilized that quite a bit. Melanie was very responsive to the few questions we had both before and during our visit. The driveway is a bit of a challenge but most in that area are. And while they are a pet-friendly house and we did bring our dogs there was not a lot of space to let them outside. It is mostly trees and mountain outside with just a small little flat grassy/mossy area that they could be in outside. But we made it work. Overall it was a great house and great location. Very close to town. We loved it!!

We loved staying at Moonshine Manor! My kids really enjoyed the pool table and the Wi-Fi (they have to be connected). It was very private and we loved being away from the town of Gatlinburg but close enough to get there in less than 7-10 minutes. It has unique features and touches with VERY comfortable beds. The driveway is pretty steep but we noticed that majority of the more secluded cabins had steep driveways. It was the perfect fall break getaway and VERY close to the entrance to the Smokey mountains. The location was phenomenal! We enjoyed the hot tub on our last night after a day of hiking it was perfect. Kevin and Melanie are very quick to respond if you need to reach them. It was our first time using a rental and it was a great experience. We would bring our extended family back as there is plenty of room and space. Moonshine manor is a nice getaway in the Smokey Mountains.

We love to travel. We are super pet friendly. We have 2 huskies ourselves and it is always. hard to find places to allow them. On one of our adventures we came to visit the Smoky Mountains and fell in love. We have since purchased a few cabins. We do love themes and history so we tend to let our cabins tell a story.
