Welcome to your new beach vacation retreat where you can soak up the soak and relax on the deck with views of the beach.

Moondancer is a wonderful retreat for families with ample space and lots to do. This beautiful second row home is just steps from the pedestrian beach and one block from Jetty park.

The living area is a large and open with views out to the beach. The entry way has a game table, where you and your friends and family can gather and either play one of the games the owners have provided or play one you have brought yourself. Located just to the side is the half bath, which is tucked under the stairs to the second level.

The living room has access to the deck where you can sit and relax watching the beautiful Surfside sunrises and sunsets with hot cup of coffee. Choose from Netflix or Amazon Prime for a relaxing night in with dinner and a movie. The dining room has a large custom made table which seats ten comfortably. There is a modern fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook at home.

There are 4 bedrooms, the Main bedroom being downstairs with a King sized bed, beyond that there is a retreat, which is used as the 4th bedroom which has a pyramid bunk twin over full bed. The retreat can be closed off with sliding doors and has an alternate access from the door that is located off the dining room.

Next to the main bedroom is a full bath with access to a washer and dryer.

Upstairs you will find the second bedroom with a Queen bed and TV. The second upstairs bedroom has two comfy queen beds and a twin. Both bedrooms have access to a full bathroom with a walk in shower.

A picnic table and extra seating is located under the house as well as a Charcoal grill (new July 2023/ BBQ pit, Fire pit and outdoor hot/cold shower.

The fun doesn’t stop there we also have a built in sandpit for your little ones to play in or play a family game of bean bag toss.

Our home is NOT available for parties or large groups (including Prom/Graduation groups) . We market to families and groups of friends seeking to relax and enjoy the peace that only a true beach vacation can provide.


Max guests the house sleeps is 12 = max number of guests including day visitors (Adults & children, under 2yrs excempt) allowed on the property at any time.

Only registered guests allowed on the property. No day guests without prior approval . If number of people on property exceeds that on reservation the reservation will be cancelled, you will be asked to leave and no refund.

Check in is at 4pm - No early Check-in unless have prior approval on the day

Max 2 dogs allowed with pet fee $150 paid after booking. (No others pet allowed, No puppies < 1yrs) The pet must remain within the owner’s control at all times, either on a leash or in a crate, XL crate is provided. We expect the pet to be completely house trained. Please clean up after the pet.

No Cooking/ BBQ on the Deck


Hurricane/storm Policy - Please check your credit card to be sure you have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. If not, Guest should consider purchasing it in case of emergency, illness, or bad weather, etc., as there is no refund policy outside of our cancellation policy unless Owner rents to another group. We also do not move reservation dates. Refunds are only issued if we have a mandatory evacuation in our area. Please read the fine print of the insurance policy carefully.

Quiet neighborhood close to the Pedestrian beach (no cars) and the Jetty

Moondancer is second home back from the beach. The pedestrian is great for families with small children. We are also close the the Jetty which is a great place to fish from and to go Dolphin Spotting. You can easily get around Surfside via car, golf cart or walking.

Surfside water is not drinkable or good for cooking. We do have a whole house filter and reverse osmosis under the sink for drinkable water, feel free to bring your own too.

4% Village of Surfside Beach Hotel/Motel Tax (Registration #10132) is included at Management Fee

Our home is located near the beach and is in a hot, humid, tropical climate. We do spray for bugs and mosquitos monthly; However, we cannot control mother nature so a few bugs may still get into the home. Please keep open food and crumbs off the counter and floors to help prevent bugs during your stay. Please also keep doors closed in evenings to prevent bugs entering the home.
