Hooligans Hideout is waiting for you! Situated perfectly between Blue Ridge and Ellijay (20 mins to each!), this peaceful and secluded log cabin offers beautiful views as soon as you walk up to the main level porch. The front door opens into the stunning open concept living/dining space with vaulted ceilings that make your log cabin dreams come true!

We are dog friendly so bring your furry hooligan! Kids welcome too;)

|Main level|

•On the main level, there are two bedrooms with a shared full bathroom with full-sized shower. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, new mattresses, luxury bedding, and bedside lamps with USB charging stations. A full size washer and dryer sits between the two bedrooms in the laundry space (with doors to hide that chore away if needed!).

•The kitchen is fully-equipped for all your cooking and baking needs. Also, our charming coffee and cocktail bar is a great place to start and end each day!

|Upstairs Loft|

•The upstairs loft is what vacation dreams are made of! The king sized bed, luxury bedding, entertainment area, and full bathroom with full-sized shower will make you never want to leave the space. There is a 50 inch smart TV with streaming capabilities, as well as multiple board games, books, and old school DVDs for a rainy day. The full size futon makes for perfect extra sleeping space upstairs.

|Outdoor space|

•The double decker porches will make an outdoor person out of anyone! Enjoy a full sized outdoor dining space on the upper deck, as well as multiple sitting areas to enjoy coffee, books, and heart-to-hearts with your people.

•The lower deck is where the magic happens! The sunset views from the hot tub are the perfect way to end each day at the Hideout. There is also a 55 inch smart TV, comfortable seating area, ping-pong table, dart board, and other outdoor games to make this the perfect entertainment space. Fire up the gas grill and enjoy the weekend out here!

•There are gates on the decks to provide extra safety for tiny hooligans (furry and otherwise).

•Driveway and front doorbell cameras ensure security (NO cameras inside).

**Please note that our two bathrooms have showers only, no bathtub.

**We provide Roku smart TV’s with streaming capabilities—just sign in to your own accounts when you arrive. We do not provide basic cable.

Getting around

***Please try to arrive before nightfall for your first trip up, as it can be difficult to find the turn for Mountain View Drive in the evening.*** The cabin is located in the heart of Cherry Log in Cashes Valley, up a few narrow and windy mountain roads. Take your time and enjoy the views on the way to the top! The cabin is on a mostly-gravel road so watch for potholes and bumps on your way. We recommend 4WD or AWD but most cars can make it up as well. It just makes it much easier if your vehicle has a little more “get up and go”! There are a couple of sharp turns turning onto Mountain View and into our driveway so take it slow—if you miss the driveway, no worries! The road is a dead end and has plenty of space to turn around.

We are self check in. The guest will receive a door code within 24 hours of check in.

House Rules

-Minimum age to book is 25.
-No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes in the Cabin or on porches.
-No parties or events.
-Max number of guests is 6. No additional people allowed at the property at ANY time besides the guests for which the booking was made.
-Guest who made booking must be present at the property.
-Check-in is 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Payment Policy

Payment will be initial payment (due at booking) and then final payment which will be due 30 days before arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in. The final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Unless alternative payment arrangements are made, the most recently used credit card will be charged the final amount due. If payment is not received in full within the stated time frames, your reservation will be canceled and a refund of your deposit will be issued less the non-refundable fees. Final payments are non-refundable unless covered by the purchase of third party travel insurance company.

Notes

- Must be 25+ to book. The primary booking guest must be present for entire stay.

-We supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, 1 sponge, 3 laundry detergent pods, K-cups, trash bags, olive oil, salt/pepper, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom to get you started on your mountain getaway. We also supply hot tub towels and full sets of bath towels for each bed.

-The cabin is non-smoking inside and on the porches.

-No fireworks allowed.

-This cabin (like most homes in the mountains) uses a septic tank. Please help us keep it working seamlessly by **only flushing toilet tissue**. Guests will be responsible for any damage caused by flushing any objects beyond standard toilet tissue.

- 6 person max, 2 vehicle max

- 2 dogs max allowed ($50 fee per stay). 50 lb Max.

-Fireplace available for use October-May. Only wood or Dura-flame logs allowed.

- This cabin is in the woods and bears/bugs/critters are a common occurrence. We have monthly pest control, but please help us by avoiding leaving food or trash outside or in your car. Trash should be placed in bins in basement upon departure.

-We recommend AWD or 4WD but most cars can make it up as well. It just makes it much easier if your vehicle has a little more “get up and go”!

**Please note we do not have a dishwasher**

Dog Rules:

1. The only pets allowed are dogs up to 50 lbs (max of 2 dogs per stay)
2. $50 pet fee per stay (this allows for additional cleaning time before next guest to ensure no allergens are left behind by furry hooligans)
3. Dogs must be housebroken and must be crated if you are not there to supervise.
4. We have extra blankets specifically for our furry hooligans so please utilize these to cut down on any excessive wear on the furniture. Dogs are not allowed on beds.
5. If there are extra cleaning needs and/or damage due to their presence, you will be charged an extra fee after check-out to cover the additional costs.
6. Please note there is not a fence on the property, and you are responsible for keeping your dog on a leash if you are off the property.
7. We ask that you do not bring dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs or humans.
