I own and manage Mermaid Inn. I am a business teacher and a new business owner. I taught at a junior high for 26 years, and I now teach at a high school.
I love the beautiful white sandy beaches and clear waters of the Emerald Coast. Owning property within walking distance of the ocean is a dream come true.
I love to travel and have stayed in many properties hosted by everyday people, so I know what is needed for comfort. I have spent a lot of time and energy making my space beautiful for you, and I want you and your family to have a wonderful 5 star stay. Only persons listed on reservation are allowed on premises. Maximum occupancy for this property shall not exceed 7 humans at any time. If Guests allows persons not listed on reservation on premises or if Guests exceeds the maximum occupancy, reservation will immediately be canceled. Guests and any and all of their Guests are subject to immediate removal and forfeiture of their security deposit and rental payment.

Refundable Damage Deposit

The security deposit is due at the time of booking.
Guests are responsible for any damage to the rental property and its contents caused by rental party during stay; such as but not limited to, stolen or broken items, stained or damaged linens, smoke inside property, violation of resort rules.
Your deposit will be refunded, within seven (7) days of departure:
• No theft or damage to the home or its contents
• Excessive cleaning not required
• No linens or household items are missing
• No unauthorized early check-in or late checkout
• No smoking has taken place in the home or on the property
• No pets occupied the cabin
• All departure procedures were adhered to

Cancellation Policy

No refund within 21 days of check-in date.

Notes

Trip insurance is recommended for unforeseen circumstances. Refunds are not given due to weather or natural disasters.
