The house is freshly remodeled: light, airy, modern and beautiful with vaulted ceilings, large windows overlooking the lake from just about every room and streams of natural lighting. Your lakefront home away from home has been stylishly redesigned with high end furnishings and artistic touches for your iconic NH getaway.
We have 4 decks, all with water views:
1st right off the kitchen with a dinning table and chairs
2nd right in front of the living room with 4 lounger chairs
3rd right in front of the lower level
4th is a stand alone deck right over the stairs with a sectional seating arrangement and large umbrella for sunny days
Cleanliness is a top priority, and so we ask all guests to leave their shoes at the door. You can bring your home shoes if you feel more comfortable.
The living area features long, light filled windows overlooking the magnificent lake, plush leather sofa, and 2 comfy swivel egg chairs. There is a West Elm double chaise to relax, read and take in the view. Wifi available through out the property including the decks. We also have central air and heat to keep you comfortable throughout the stay. The lake house has lots of board games and books for all ages.
Throughout the house we have Casper mattresses for the most comfortable sleep during your stay. On the main floor are 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The second floor is an open loft overlooking the lake with a master en suite. The walkout lower level has an office with a Joybird Eliot Sleeper Sectional that pulls out into a queen foam mattress bed and its own private full bathroom. The house comfortably accommodates six (6) people.
We have 2 Bedrooms, 1 loft, one lower level room that can serve as bedroom or office and 3 full bathrooms:
(1) Master bedroom with King-Sized Bed, full bathroom and majestic views of water from the Loft. The loft overlooks the windows facing the water and there is no door to this room.
(2) A bedroom with bunk beds - full and twin
(3) A bedroom with 2 full size beds
(4) Lower level room with Joybird Eliot Sleeper Sectional that pulls our into a queen foam mattress bed and panoramic views of the lake. There is a full bathroom accessible from the lower level room.
Please Note: We provide enough pillows, blankets, comforters, linens and bath/hand/face/kitchen towels. Guests just have to bring their own beach towels.
A Chefs Kitchen ~ fully equipped with custom cabinets, granite countertops stainless steel appliances including a gas range, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, dish ware, and flatware. Tea, coffee, basic spices and condiments included ~ we hope you enjoy!
Large Dock with water toys ~ 30x6 brand new dock with wide staircase to easily get to the water. In the summer your family can enjoy cooling off in the lake: kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming. We provide outdoor toys for your enjoyment: 2 stand-up paddle boards, 1 kid kayak, 1 single adult kayak, 2 person inflatable kayak and a floating rubber dockie mat. Rust pond has some great fishing, which you can enjoy right from the dock. Plenty of life jackets available and recommended when using water toys.
Fire pit ~ We have a large patio overlooking the lake with an outdoor firepit to roast marshmallows and enjoy the lake. It is our favorite place to hangout when there is a little chill in the air.

Every season on Rust pond has its own charm.
SUMMER:
You can also rent a boat at Goodhue boat rental (5 mi), to go tubing on Lake Winnipesaukee. Wake Winni water sports (3mi), has excellent wake surfing, water skiing and wake boarding lessons. Our kids learned how to water ski and wake board with Wake Winni! From the town docks (3 mi) you can also jump on the US Postal Service delivery boat and cruise around the lake delivering mail. Kids can help deliver the US Postal mail to all the islands in Winnipesaukee. (This is a favorite for our kids!) This is the best way to explore the entirety of the lake with the family.
FALL:
Autumn brings a crispness to the air and beautiful views of the fall foliage. There are great hiking trails close by, including Mt Major 14.5mi, Brewster Heath Preserve Walking Trail (2mi). We also have an outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and enjoy the lake.
WINTER:
In winter the lake freezes over, providing opportunities to explore the lake like never before - walking, snowshoeing, skating, or cross country skiing. Sewall woods (5mi) provides miles of groomed cross country skiing trails and snowshoeing paths. Nordic Skier Sports (4mi) provides the rentals and trail pass you need to enjoy a day out snowshoeing or cross country skiing. We are also (6mi) from Abenaki, (20mi) from Gunstock & (29mi) from Kingpine for skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing fun! Once back home snuggle up with a hot chocolate next to the gas stove and admire the views.
SPRING:
There are lots of great hikes in the area. Castle in the Clouds, Mt Major 14.5mi, Brewster Heath Preserve Walking Trail (2mi) are some of our favorites. You can also bring your bikes and enjoy nearby biking, such as the cotton valley rail trail(6 mi). We also have an outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and enjoy the lake.
