This place is perfect for those who work from home, traveling nurses & couples looking to move to/explore Denver. Remodeled in 2019 with all new heating & AC added in 2022. Located in the Santa Fe Art district with plenty of culture and heART to explore! You are minutes away from 6th Avenue, I25, Colfax, Broadway and the heart of Denver. We have plenty of free street parking with access to light rails, busses or scooters to rent nearby. We offer high speed (fiber) 940 mbps WiFi.
Walking in to this space you will be blown away by the attention to detail with our recent remodel. Fresh paint, new floors throughout and all new appliances including stacked washer/dryer units, dishwasher, refrigerator & oven. The only "old" thing in this house is the incredible exposed brick that you couldn't pay us to cover up! Beautifully redone bathrooms and kitchen - fully stocked with all your cooking essentials. We do a detail cleaning between each guest so our home is very well maintained.

Our home has 3 private entrances; The front door leads to our mudroom/patio with a table/workspace where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine.

Through the next door you will walk into our spacious living room/common area which includes a queen pullout sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress and 50" LED with sound bar & Apple TV.

Our dining room table seats 6 and is great for hosting small dinner parties or game nights!

Our kitchen has tall ceilings and is fully stocked with all the essentials - Including assorted pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowls, cutting boards, dish ware, bake ware & drink ware. A tea kettle, coffee machine and blender are also provided. Please be sure to clean what you use and gently care for ceramics.

There is one private room with an attached half bath/shower and the other half bath/toilet right outside your bedroom door. The master bed is a California King with memory foam mattress and hotel grade bedding. There is a 32" LED Smart TV and a private entrance/exit that leads to the fully fenced backyard.

Our private yard has a deck and professional landscaping plus a 6' fence to maintain your peace in the city. We have outdoor seating along with a gas fire pit to keep you warm and a gas grill for BBQing! Propane is included with your stay along with El Dorado Spring water and an assortment of spices, cleaning supplies & other household needs.

We pride ourselves on being an Eco Friendly & luxuriously sustainable living space and have included both trash, recycling and compost along with easy to understand "yes/no" & "how to" lists for each bin. Please help us save our planet and leave the world a better place! All of our plants are real and we will advise you how/when to water them <3

Wonderful kitchen. Private washer and dryer. Water cooler. Plenty of cleaning supplies . Comfortable mattress and pillows. Malia left the loveliest welcome gift which I really appreciated and communications ran smooth I rented a car and rarely had any issues with parking. Packages also ran smoothly and postmen usually left parcels in unsuspicious areas Heaters worked well to combat the cold when I turned them on towards end of my stay ( Halloween ) Overall i enjoyed my time, it’s a unique space. I did have a bit of an adjustment period with the street noise and the interior of the house not receiving much sunlight- but It became less bothersome over the course of my stay

We stayed at the Luxe City Retreat for a month. The place was clean, comfortable, and roomy for a 1 bedroom. The location is central to all things Denver and easy to hop on the highway to get to the mountains. The neighborhood is going through early stages of gentrification and is on a busy street corner with very heavy foot traffic right next to the fence (something to consider with dogs). Malia was responsive during our time there and left a nice welcome package.

If your looking for longterm and close to everything this is the place. So close to downtown and right off the interstate and a light rail line. Host is super amazing. The house is cozy and quaint. We stayed 32 nights and sad to have left.

This place is wonderful. We stayed here for 3 months in the winter and while it could get a little chilly (it was in the negatives outside) overall this place is a gem. Malia is incredibly communicative and an excellent host. Location is great, still close to everything but more quiet than staying in downtown. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for about a month and it was great! The unit is super spacious, the house (especially the kitchen) is super well stocked, and the back yard is a definite plus. We had a couple small issues come up (normal house things) and Malia was super responsive and attentive. Would recommend for a short- or long-term stay.

We very much enjoyed a month long stay at Malia’s place! Great communication, very clean and the house has everything you would need for a long stay. Can be bit loud during the daytime because it’s on a main road and the house does get quite cold on wintry days. Malia was very accommodating in providing space heaters to help and would not be an issue in warmer months. Overall, we would recommend a stay here!

Malia’s Airbnb felt just like home during our monthly stay. Her place is so nicely decorated and has the most beautiful, well-stocked kitchen. On cool nights, we enjoyed the fire and the murals in the backyard. I couldn’t recommend Malia’s place enough!

We were extremely cold staying in this house. We worked from home while we were there and had to wear coats, fingerless gloves, and wrap blankets around us to stay warm even with the heat on high. Granted it did get down to -9 degrees at the coldest point, but even with the heat on high, the toilet bowl water froze and the foam mattress was so cold it was crunchy. This is an old home that has been renovated and has a lot of charm, but it is very poorly insulated. Malia was very quick to communicate and did bring one extra space heater over, but the technician that was supposed to come see if the heaters were working correctly never showed in the whole month we were there, and although Malia said she ordered another space heater and an electric blanket, when the weather started warming up a little (to the 40s), she decided not to bring them over. If the weather is good, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great location, comfy bed, cute house. If it’s going to be either very hot or very cold though, I would not recommend this house.

We have installed a new electric fireplace along with offering 2 movable space heaters in case there is a draft, a large heating blanket for the bed and a basement heater that monitors the temperature so the pipes won’t freeze. The AC units work great in the summer along with the ceiling fans so our summer guests won’t have this issue. Thank again. M

We stayed at The Luxe City Retreat for a month and it was so special!! The house itself is so cute and everything inside is sparkling clean and brand new. I worked from home and it was a welcome change of scenery and so cozy. Anytime I had questions, Malia was so quick to answer and so accommodating. I knew I had picked the best place the moment I walked in the door — and I’d add that the space is bigger in person than it appears in the photos. Malia put up holiday lights while we were there and it was the cutest touch, especially the few days it snowed! Street parking was easy and going on walks around the neighborhood and along the Cherry Creek trail nearby was so lovely. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Getting around

Located so close to Denver, you may not need a car! However we do have plenty of free street parking. There is a bus stop right around the corner and a 5 minute walk to the nearest light rail station. There are local Scooters available for rent if you don't feel like walking or driving. We are located right in the center of 6th Avenue, Colfax, I25 and Broadway. Lyft/Uber never takes more than a few minutes to arrive.
