Great location, with accommodations that include a comfy bed and noise machine, which eliminated the slight noise of the traffic. Also little touches. Like a very clean bathtub for a spa night. And by the kitchen Kurig, a to-go coffee cup and lid! Very walkable if you wish, in close proximity to great restaurants and shops, as well as the always entertaining Paducah performance venues. I recommend!

Just an okay stay, nothing special. Check-in after 3pm, check out by 10am. Felt draft in living room. We were not able to light the fireplace. Instructions said a lighter was over the microwave, but we could not find it. There was a sign in bathroom that said if you get makeup on white towels there would be an additional fee. There was major dust and debris behind the bedroom door. A positive was the bed. We did sleep well.

Response:Hi Darlene, we maintain high standards on cleanliness and would’ve been happy to touch up anything or clean any dust found during your stay if we were made aware of an issue. Makeup on white towels ruins them. This sign is to make guests aware that the gray towels are there for makeup (just like any hotel). Asking guests to wipe their face with a gray washcloth is a simple request, and avoids having to waste a washcloth in the trash every time a guest stays.

Stylish, quality furnishings, comfortable bed, full kitchen - and to top it off, a gas fireplace which made us feel cozy and welcome after a long day on the road. We love this location, too, because it's near downtown Paducah, with its fantastic restaurants, historic buildings, and friendly people. Erika and hosts provide excellent suggestions on where to go. Paducah is becoming our favorite stop on the way to and from Florida.

We stubbed our toes on uneven joinsts each time we moved to new room. Dust shoved behind bedroom door. Dryer didn't work and stopped so had to let it pause every 15 minutes. Broom, swiffer and vacum not put away. No decaf coffee or creamer or soap for dishwasher or washing machine Noisy street - very noisy! Sofa sleeper very uncomfortable - bed was very comfortable. Thermostat jumped around after set at a specific temp with hold - it changed. And it was almost hanging from the wall. Kitchen sink not scoured and shiny, not kitchen towels

Response:The swiffer and broom were left out if you had a mess that needed to be cleaned during a stay. Many guests request and prefer this. There are not uneven joists, there are couple areas with original hardwood, and the main rooms have newer hardwood over the top for an improved look. This home is in a historical district.
