The Widow Avery House is a historic Georgian Federal located within two blocks of downtown Hallowell. There is a spacious bedroom with two twin beds and desk with desktop computer available for use, a sitting area with couch and large roku TV, dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster oven and keurig with complimentary coffee and private bathroom with shower. During the season complimentary bikes and kayaks are available.
If the guest has a service dog, the pet deposit is $1500.
Space 1 has two twin beds and one LL Bean cot available for use. There are no kitchen privileges but the space has a kitchenette with dining area, fridge, microwave, toasteroven, toaster, keurig and blender. There is also a large TV, couch and private full bathroom.

Andrea’s place was very nice and comfortable and the location was fantastic. We have never seen an airbnb with so many extras! There were extra conveniences tucked into every corner and shelf. A truly amazing apartment. We hope to stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at Andrea’s! The space is charming, and her attention to detail in the decor was an added touch! We couldn’t have been more comfortable! She even had a salt lamp foot warmer warmed and ready for us when we got upstairs! Highly recommend this accommodation!

Andrea's space had everything we needed, and we could tell she wanted people to feel comfortable. She had clearly put much thought into what items might help guests relax. It was a nice location; we just walked to dinner and easily explored the main street.

House Rules
Prior to check in all adult guests must text a copy of their drivers license to host. Occupancy is limited to the number of people on the booking. No visitors without permission. Leave no trace policy. We do not charge a cleaning fee. Guests have the choice of following checklist or leave a cleaning fee. The expectation is that guests leave the space as clean as they found it. No smoking inside. Smoking area is by the hot tub. No street shoes in the house. Please leave them in the entryway. Toxic particulates from the combustion of gasoline and diesel cling to the bottom of shoes and we do not want them in the house. There is a security camera in the entryway to ensure compliance. Kayaks, bicycles and paddleboards available for stays of two nights or longer. If the guest has a service dog, the returnable pet deposit is $1500. This is the cost of repairing wood floors damaged by pet toe nails. There is a $10 fee for use of the cot, $25 fee for late check out no later than noon and $50 fee for using the fireplace when stay is less than one week.
