First this isn't just a place to stay its a destination.
Quiet no neighbors for 200 ft one directions, over 400 ft other direction, , Our 2 bedroom home has queen size beds in both BR also half bath in one and full master bath in the other.(maybe bedroom 3)is a loft with 2 twin beds . Has main full bath for everyone. Above the garage is a bonus game/bedroom with half bath, has a full size sofa sleeper couch and a full size futon,and ping pong table. Basically sleeping arrangements for 6 2 full baths and 2 half baths.

Right off the deck is the lawn and a children's activity center , there's a play area on the beach away from the lake, at the lake is the beach and perfect shallow water for several feet .

There's many things to do in and around Manistique which makes Manistique a perfect location to stay for the ,many sightseeing locations within driving distance, some are
Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls,waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries.Obviously fall is good time if you love to watch the fall colors and if you love the snow there's trails close by for snowmobiling and skiing.

If you want there's kayaks and bicycles provided for your entertainment ,along with boogie boards ,horseshoes yard darts , volley ball and ping pong , there's stacks of board games , and good books ,over 100 dvd's and and tvs and dvd players in all rooms.

The only thing you need to bring is food, beverages, tooth paste, toothbrush and a comb ,, everything else is provided ,, dish soap , dishwasher soap, laundry soap, fabric softener sheets hand soap bath soap shampoo, paper products .

Our Favorite vacation
We can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Was just what we needed. We had plenty of privacy to enjoy the beach gave fires and play plenty of games outside. The house was stocked with kites outdoor games board games anything you could possibly want to do. The beach is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and the setting. We weren't to far from other attractions you may want to do. Pictured rocks was only an hour away. Bob and Barb were very easy to work with and are happy to answer any questions. We are hoping to ho back someday. Our kids said this was there favorite vacation. They range in age from 7-15. If you are checking this place out just do it you won't regret it.

A little slice of heaven
I booked this rental for my family for a relaxing summer vacation. The entire booking process was straightforward and easy to complete. Bob, the owner was quick to answer any questions and kept in communication with me to make sure there were no questions prior to our check in date. Upon arrival, he was quick to check in to make sure everything was good and gave some suggestions for places to eat. Top notch communication, which I really appreciated! The house itself is a "little slice of heaven". It honestly was as if we came to visit family at their beach house. The extra effort that Bob and Barbara do to make sure you feel welcomed were wonderful and touching. The kitchen is fully stocked with the necessary items to cook whatever you need but they also thought to include napkins, paper plates, condiments etc. Bathrooms are stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. There are even extra toothbrushes and a blow dryer in case you forgot yours! Products to do laundry were provided as well. There are so many games, movies, beach toys that the kids never got bored and I appreciated that we didn't need to bring that extra stuff. The house is immaculate and we really felt welcomed the second we pulled in the driveway. The house is completely private and we never saw or heard any neighbors the entire week. We swam in the water all day, played games at night and fell asleep listening to the waves lap at the shoreline. This vacation brought back so many memories of childhood and I wish we could have stayed two weeks instead of one. You will not be disappointed in this rental. It was a week of time with family and relaxation we so desperately needed. Thanks so much Bob and Barbara!

Lake heaven!
We absolutely found this rental to be the best experience of all those we've rented through VRBO. The house is absolutely perfect for families. The amenities provided by the owner is way above and beyond the normal, from recreational items (kayaks, bikes, games for example) to personal use items (soaps, shampoos, paper supplies, coffee, S&P, dish soap, laundry supplies, even mustard, mayo & ketchup). The kitchen is updated & adequately supplied; gas grill available. Linens, towells, even beach towels provided. No A.C., but fans were in all rooms. Cell service sketchy and no internet (but that's exactly what we wanted!). The beach cabana, deck and outdoor seating ample and situated perfectly. Arrived to find popsicles in the freezer! The owners were great to work with & provided lots of local information; checked in during our stay too. The location is central to numerous attractions in the U.P., we definitely would recommend this rental!!

A Perfect Family Vacation
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Little Pebbles on Michibay in Manistique, MI. What an amazing location!!! It literally is like living in a post card on a perfect beach. The walk from the back deck to the beach is no more than 100 paces with about 6 steps on a gentle slope. Between the beach and the house is a wonderful little cabana that we loved to sit at. This house is stocked full of towels, pillows, blankets, games, dvd’s, books, outdoor toys, kayaks, bikes, etc. Just about everything that you would need if the weather is sunny or rainy. The house is very clean and was plenty big for my family. There is a bedroom (with a very comfortable futon) and bathroom above the garage, which my daughter claimed as her “apartment”. The hosts thought of everything. There were walkie-talkies to talk to each other over the property. They even have warm and cold water station with hand held shower wand to clean off the sand outside. Felt good, kept house clean and prevented complaints from the kids having to "hose off." The town of Manistique was wonderful. It really has a small town atmosphere. We loved it. Stop at the visitor center that has the big Paul Bunyan outside it. We had the pleasure of speaking to Allen to help us know everywhere to go and maps to get there. Our phones didn't always get service for navigating. A must see is Pictured Rocks, which was only a little over an hour away. Also, we really enjoyed walking up in the lighthouse at Seul Choix Point and learning some history of the area. Yes! You really get to walk up into the lighthouse! Get a pasty or amazing fish at 3 Seasons restaurant, huge cinnamon roll or sticky bun at Cedar Street Cafe, or freshest sandwich and fabulous coffee at Upper Crust. Otherwise, Jack's grocery has everything you need for an easy meal at home You can tell that Bob and Barb care about their home and about their renters comfort. They were always reachable and very accommodating. We could not ask for better hosts.

This home is absolutely perfect for the family wanting to get away from it all! The home has everything you need to make your vacation perfect; kayaks, bikes, dvds, beach games, did I mention the private beach! We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening meals on the cabana looking out over the lake, even saw the eagle a time or two. The owners were attentive and kept in contact with us throughout our stay. I can't say enough good things about this home it is really the perfect vacation get away!

Great Family Vacation Place
This was a great family vacation place, and although we have adult children, it would have been even more perfect for young kids! The owners had great communication with us through the whole process, and the home was well cared for and clean. Everything was exactly as stated, and all of the amenities were more than we expected or even thought of!! There are beach toys and chair, beach towels, tons of family games and movies, and space for everyone. We had a great time and appreciated the care taken to provide so many things by the owners.

You won't want for anything when you arrive at this home. Having rented homes for over 20 years I have never seen a host supply so many things to make your stay seem like home. And the house even though great isn't even the jewel of this property . The private sandy beach is one of a kind. For a great family vacation you can't go wrong here.
