Casa da Clementina (@casa_da_clementina), like her twin Casa da Laurentina, is one of the very few townhouses in Alvalade/Lisbon.
This 1951 gem was completely overhauled, enjoys all the modern amenities, a small private garden, and dedicated car parking.
Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen opens to a living area with direct access to the garden.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Metro, train, bus options will take you to the CBD. Airport and major city exits are 5 minutes away.
In our family since it was built, Casa da Clementina has been carefully maintained over the years. It carries the name of a sweet aunt of ours who was a talented painter and craftswoman, with some objects having belonged to her.
My sister and I lived in it straight out of college. And out of fondness, improved it over the years, culminating with full overhaul completed in September 2021. You will find all the modern amenities in an understated way.
Downstairs you will enjoy an ample living room that opens to a small garden in the backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to develop your culinary talents. Great if you enjoy cooking and have friends for dinner, in or outside.
The rooms upstairs are cozy and quiet, suited if you need to work, too.
One en-suite bedroom and two rooms sharing another bathroom.

Getting around
If you intend to go out of town then I recommend that you have/rent a car to move around. You can park it inside the property. Whether you plan to explore the South of Portugal (Alentejo/Algarve), the North (Coimbra/Porto/Minho/Douro) or the surrounding areas (eg Sintra Cascais) the major road exits are just a few minutes away.
If you intend to explore the city then you can chill and use the many public transportation options that are a stone throw away (Metro - Roma or Areeiro, Train - Roma/Areeiro, Bus - several options)

House Rules
THE OBVIOUS
Take care of the house exactly in the same way you would expect others to take care of yours and leave everything where you have found it.
No shoes in the bedrooms
No smoking inside (including vaping) and absolutely NO cigarette buts in the garden (dispose of them in the outside containers)
No food or drinks on the sofa
Sort the garbage into the correct containers (see flyer on the door) and place the containers outside throughout the stay
No unregistered guests or parties
CHECKING OUT
Please return the furniture and decoration items to the place you found them. (the cleaning fee does not cover furniture rearrangement)
Sort and dispose of your waste in the right container and containers are not completely full.
Close all the windows, shutters, doors and gates.
LOCAL LAWS
Like in any hotel, under EU laws we have to ask you for your personal ID data and inform local authorities.
CAR PARKING
Please always park your car inside the house. Street parking is strictly for residents with a permit and on a regular basis the city services fine and tow the cars that do not have a resident permit.
POST/USE of ADDRESS
As a short-term rental please refrain to use the address for any post, correspondence or official matters. Organize the reception of items stricklty through courier during your stay.
LONG STAYS
For longer stays (30 days and above): Be mindful of electricity consumption. Consumption above 350kwa per month will be charged in addition to the monthly fee.
PET Policy
ONE DOG (ONLY) will be considered subject to acceptance of the rules (only stays on the ground floor, does NOT go to the bedrooms, and does not stay on the sofa) and the payment of the pet fee
GARDEN MAINTENANCE
We strive to keep the house in the best possible shape to welcome our guests. The garden requires regular upkeeping for which I have contracted professional services. Damage Deposit Policy
As a security deposit alternative, houfyProtect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
If canceled more than 60 days before arrival a full refund is provided (minus 20 Euro processing costs). If canceled more than 30 days before arrival 50% refund (minus 20 Euro processing costs). No refunds for cancelations made less than 30 days before arrival.
