390 sq. M (4300 sq. feet).

Open Plan Fully Equipped: Dishwasher, Oven, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Air-fryer, Nespresso Coffee machine and small appliances.

Living:
Spacious Lounge, Dining room and Terraces.

Outdoors:
Large patios surrounding a solar heated rim flow pool (size 7.8m x 3.5m x 1.6m deep), grassed area, Koi pond with patio, BBQ. The pool is solar heated. Therefore if it is not sunny enough or if the cold SE wind is blowing - the pool might not be able to heat up.

Electronics:
Satellite 3D TV with Netflix, 3 bedrooms with TV's. Docking Station.

Internet:
High speed fiber internet connection. UPS back-up for power cuts. The fiber speed can be increased at an additional cost if required.

Cooling & heating:
Air-conditioning & under-floor heating is provided to selected areas. Gas fireplace for those chilly winter evenings.

Security: Video Intercom access, electric fence and armed response burglar alarm.

Would highly recommend this beautiful home in Camps Bay. Great location, short walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, supermarket. House is perfect for 2 families - beautiful pool and outdoor area with an amazing view of Lions Head. Elize was a great host.

My third time in Cape Town and for sure this villa was a dream for my friends and I! Elize and her team were so helpful from the minute we booked and throughout our whole stay! The house is open, spacious, but cozy at the same time and literally a 5 min walk from the beach and Codfather restaurant which is always a delight. Elize made sure we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay. Literally couldn’t have asked for a better home or host! Would highly recommend for families or group stays!

We stayed for a week to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The house is beautiful and has a perfect location. We were 3 generations and 4 couples plus 2 toddlers. The house would easily house 5 adult couples as each bedroom has its own En-Suite. Elize communicated clearly and promptly, and my only regret is that we never got to meet as I was out the day she visited us. (She has a guy that looks after any day to day issues, not that we needed him) The Housekeepers came in 3 times during the week and that ample. We loved the place and would definitely return and recommend it others. Sitting here typing this in 7 degrees I'm missing it already. Thanks for a great week Elize

I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s around the world and Lion’s View has been my favorite so far. Listing and photos are accurate. Elize was very responsive and easy to work with. Easy walk to Camps Bays restaurants and shopping. Love it and would come back again!

What an absolutely beautiful home! The view is incredible, almost surreal enjoying a morning coffee by the infinity pool looking at Lions Head! Location wise it's great, very close to Camps Bays shops and restaurants and a tidal pool. You can also walk to Lions Head from the house easily which we did one day and is definitely worth the sweat! Elize was a brilliant host, very attentive and excellent at keeping in touch and advising where to go and what to do. We can highly recommend asking her to book you some massages from the Airbnb too, they were fab!

Elize was a very unpleasant host. Her communication was unclear and she attempted to include additional charges of R20,000 and asked for the funds to be paid directly into her account. We ended up leaving 2 days before our checkout date to avoid any further unpleasantness. We were very uncomfortable with this request as this is not how Airbnb is supposed to work.

Response:Hi Shola Thank you for taking the time to write the review. Firstly you never were at the villa. Although your initial request was: "I will be visiting for vacation with my family". You booked the villa on your profile for other people. 2nd. The people you booked into the villa, kept the penthouse awake until 3am - although our house rules states "no noise which will inconvenience the neighbors". 3rd. You sub-letted the villa as a location shoot the next morning to another agent, to shoot a music video (again loud noise, many models, film crew, artists etc). 4th. I contacted Airbnb directly to request that you pay for the location shoot (can show proof) and mentioned that your clients had to leave the Lion's View villa. You then called and begged me that they can finish the music video (which they did) and promised you would pay. I sent you a Lion's View credit card payment link (can send proof) for the location fee - which you never paid. 5th. Your clients / friends were asked to leave the villa by Airbnb. 6th. Your clients / friends still have not returned the keys 2 weeks later or paid for all the damages including have to had the locks changed, new keys cut etc. Although we appreciate feedback, you are not in a position to write a review. -You booked the villa under false pretenses. -You were not at the villa. -You used our property for financial gain to sub let it to other people and then to a film company for a location fee. - You were asked to vacate the villa by Airbnb.

We recently stayed at this amazing property for the full month of April. In these times of COVID and being away from home during said times, it made all the difference to have the touches of home and someone looking out for us (thank you, Elize!). Waking up and going to sleep to the most stunning views of Lion's Head and the shoreline...I really cannot put it into words. It truly felt like home - what a gift in these uncertain times! A wonderful house a short walk to Camp's Bay. Excellent communication and a great help sorting extra cots for the babies. Sharon was there to greet us and had very helpfully sorted a shop which was there on arrival. Stylish and spotless would definitely recommend.

House Rules
Thank you for your interest in booking our property. You have 3 hours to cancel your booking - should you change your mind. Just a gentle reminder of our terms and conditions: Check-in time: 14:00 and check-out is at 10:00. To guarantee an early arrival or late departure we charge 50% of the daily rate and then we block off the night before or after. If you prefer to take a chance and the property is available on the day for an early arrival or late departure we will be delighted to accommodate you. We require a refundable breakage deposit of R20 000, it will be paid a week before arrival via Airbnb. We require ID or passport copies of all guests staying over. Additional tenants will be charged a pro-rate amount of the rental. Maximum guests in the house at any time: 10 pax incl babies and todlers. There will be an extra cleaning fee of R900 if the property is not left in a reasonable condition of tidiness. No parties, photo shoots (films or stills) or functions are permitted. As the properties are situated in a residential complex, no noise is permitted which will inconvenience the neighbours. Airbnb will black list any guests who does not comply. No smoking inside. There will be a minimum charge from R900.00 for any keys not returned by 10am on the check-out day or guests not vacating the property at check-out time. There is a pool on the property which does not have a pool net or pool cover. If parents are travelling with children, please be aware of this and note that this is your responsibility to monitor your children.
