Large Spacious Bedroom with extremely comfortable queen sized sleigh bed in central Midtown Manhattan (Hells Kitchen) just a couple blocks from Times Square. Close to subways, restaurants, nightlife, everything you need just steps away. 5th Floor walk-up! Bathroom, living room and kitchen are shared among the 3 bedrooms in apartment, one of which is the hosts bedroom upstairs. Bedrooms are opposite ends of apartment. Plenty of privacy and quiet bedroom! Sofa in bedroom!
Large spacious bedroom, furnished with queen size bed, couch, small futon, dresser and 1 closet with hanging space. Towels and linens provided.

The apartment is a 5th floor walk up NO ELEVATOR (about 80 stairs!). This bedroom is in the back of the apartment away from the living space and other bedrooms, so plenty of privacy and quiet. I have had people stay here for 2 weeks and never see them once!.... as the bedroom is close to apartment entrance and close to the shared bathroom. As the apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator, minimal luggage is suggested.

This building is a private residence and quiet. Looking for guests that respect the buildings resident neighbors and keep noise levels low. If you like to play loud music or talking loudly, find another apartment!

Hosts bedroom is the 3rd bedroom and is upstairs.

Hells Kitchen is an extremely desirable neighborhood to stay in central Manhattan, just a couple blocks West of times square, 5 minute walk. The neighborhood (9th Avenue) is lined with restaurants, bars, nightlife, delis, drug stores, and all the amenities. The neighborhood is a very LGBTQ friendly neighborhood, with 15 gay bars nearby in the neighborhood. Very diverse neighborhood with plenty of non-gay bars as well. Many subways and bus lines are nearby, within 5-10 minute walk from the apartment to get you anywhere in the city easily.

The bedroom has one large window that faces other buildings (so no view) but gets good sunlight during the day. The room is very quiet because it is back of bedroom. Typical New York City heating system, in which the heat is ON for the entire building, thus if the bedroom is warmer than you would like it (in the winter), the window must be opened to control temperature. There is also a in-wall A/C which can be turned on fan mode. In the summer the AC unit has plenty of juice to cool the bedroom to your preferred temperature.

WIFI is included. No TV.

The main bathroom is shared by everyone in the apartment. The host has a half bathroom upstairs, so primarily the bathroom is shared between you and the other bedroom (also an Airbnb guest)

Guests may or may not have interaction with the host, depending on time of visit. The host is generally home at night during the weekdays. Depending on time of stay, there may be another guest in the front bedroom.

All subway trains are just a couple (5-10 minute walk) blocks from the apartment. A,C,E,N,R,Q,W,7,1,2,3. Bus lines up and down 9th and 10th avenue. Cabs available out the front door.

The most important rules -- NO SMOKING anywhere in the apartment. And do NOT SLAM the front door of the apartment (neighbors will complain).
