The Howard Hardy House is centrally located on 2nd Street directly across from the Omni Hotel, and a short walk from the downtown nightlife of 4th Street Live, Riverfront Park, the Kentucky Center for the Arts, the YUM Center Arena, and the bars and restaurants of Main Street. The Howard Hardy is also conveniently minutes ride from the shops and galleries of NuLu, the beauty of Cherokee Park, the University of Louisville, Bardstown Road and Frankfort Avenue, and Churchill Downs racetrack.
First Floor:

Bedroom 1: 1 king size bed

Bedroom 2: 1 king size ned

Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom.

In this floor there are 2 kitchens with 2 Keureeg one on each kitchen plus 1 living room.

Second Floor:

Bedroom 3: 1 king size bed plus a toilet and bath.

Bedroom 4: 2 queen size bed with toilet and bath

Bedroom 5: 2 queen size bed

There is a one common bathroom available. This floor features its own living room and kitchen with a regular coffee maker.

Third Floor:

Bedroom 6: 2 queen size bed.

Parking:

Two parking spots are available at the back.

Front parking requires meter payment on weekdays, with a need to move the car by 3:30. Alternatively, parking is available on the street.

Great proximity to KICC for our business travel. The room layout was ideal for our party of 5 as we alll had our own private rooms and bathrooms. The space could easily hold double the people. Road and air traffic noise is quite a bit but appreciated the noise machine in the bedroom to help with sleep. Spaces were very clean and accommodating. Everything you could need was provided.

Enjoyed our stay! Close to where we needed to be and local restaurants. Easy access to travel as well. Parking was behind the building which wasn’t easy access but otherwise clean, and definitely worth the money.

The house is beautiful and the hosts are amazing and responsive. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of doors on the inside helped with privacy for everyone but also allowed us to open up and be together. My only issues were the courtyard and parking. The area next to the house is connected to a housing facility and we felt a little less secure with the constant in and out next-door, but were able to keep everything locked up. Also, please be aware the two parking spots in the back are often used illegally and in order to use them you'll need to tow someone, which we didn't want to do 😞. There is off street parking and a few parking garages nearby so you can find parking but have to pay a little extra. Again, amazing responsive hosts! We were just a little unprepared for the area.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay. The host and team were fully accessible and quick to respond. Eugene called to check on me before our stay and Mike came right over to show me how to work things. Both were very kind and helpful. Beautiful place, pictures don’t fully capture the beauty and comfort of the place. Great place for a large group to spread out and come together. Kitchens on 3 floors microwave, fridge sink etc., but only one stove on main floor. Outside of only one stove, everything needed was there dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. I highly recommend this location. Five star service and five star stay!

Awesome place for a large group. Crazy amounts of kitchens, bathrooms and seating areas. 3 full stories of funky decor and a cozy atmosphere to chill. We loved our stay! 3 minor issues/thoughts: 1) The kitchens have very minimal items for cooking. We had to scrounge and pool utensils and dishes & consolidate them for feeding our group. 2) The rear parking is a little tricky and can only be accessed from E Muhammad Ali Blvd or the very easy to miss alley on S. 2nd St. (between the church & Econo Lodge). A lot of the times people were parked in those spots too. 3) The outlets in the downstairs far rear kitchen didn't work as well as the microwave. We notified the host. Other than that the place is super cool. Close to everything in downtown. We loved our stay!
