OUTDOOR LIVING: Spacious deck, Weber gas grill, charcoal grill, screened in gazebo on the waters edge, private 30 ft. dock (end of dock is about 6 ft deep but is not suitable to dive from) 4 kayaks, paddle boat, 18 ft swim floating mat for hours of fun for kids and adults. Adult inflatable lounger floats. (Dock and water boats are typically not available from Oct.-April. Dependent on the weather and seasons. Inquire if they are available.)
INDOOR LIVING: Smart TV in all bedrooms w/ Disney Plus, log into your own streaming apps to watch other items. DVDs, puzzles, ceiling fans, wood-burning fireplace, (bring your own firewood). Each bedroom has USB ports. High efficiency AC units. There is a laundry room available for use during your stay and an extra refrigerator in the laundry room for extra food and drinks.

Eagle Pines Point Lake home sits on a 1/2 acre of land. There are property markers on the property. Please adhere to those markers as we do have neighbors on either side.
Guests have the entire house to themselves. There are 2 closets inside that are locked for owner and cleaning company supplies. There is a garage that is also locked for guest safety.
I’m a quick text or phone call away. Property manager lives 1 mile away and available for emergent issues that may arise.
Ward lake is an approx. 100-acre lake that does have a public boat access. While the lake is a full recreational lake noise travels across water easily. You may hear some water activities from families playing in the water, primarily in the summertime on the weekends.
Do not leave any food outside or on grill. Clean grill immediately after use to not attract animals. There are animals at the lake home since it's in woods with water surrounding it. Take appropriate safety precautions. This is more their home then ours.
There are 3 high efficiency window air conditioners for summer months.
THINGS TO BRING: Sunscreen, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, bug spray, food, beverages, coffee, seasonings and condiments. (Public health in Polk County does not allow shared condiments, seasoning or shared containers.) Beach towels for swimming, do not use indoor cabin towels.
WHAT IS OFFERED: individual salt and pepper packets. (Public health prevents any shared communal kitchen food/liquid items.) hand towels, bath towels, bedding and linens, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper (4 rolls per bathroom), paper towel (2 rolls) and garbage bags. Extra soaps can be found underneath sinks. We offer starter packs of these supplies, for longer stays you may need to pick up more.
WINTER/SNOW: The private road and our driveway does get plowed if there is 3 or more inches of snow. Because this is a lake home in the woods, that is not our primary home, guests are responsible for shoveling the area from the driveway to the lake home during the winter. There are shovels and salt provided.

FIRE PIT RULES:
1. Burning of household trash, plastic or extremely flammable items is prohibited
2. Use of charcoal lighter, gasoline or kerosene to start the fire is prohibited. Only non-chemically treated wood can be used
3. Wood burning fire pits can never be left unattended. All embers must be doused with water until fire is extinguished
4. Ashes must not be dumped in the common areas
- No fireworks
- The property does have an upstairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
- This property has high-quality cleaning standards and uses a professional cleaning company to thoroughly clean and sanitize in between guests. We also follow all Polk County Public Health recommendations for cleaning and sanitizing.
- The cabin runs on a septic tank, please use water sparingly, please do not flush or put down the sink any oils, grease, chemicals, feminine products...etc.
- If you use the fireplace you need to open the damper handle to make sure it's properly ventilated. When you leave the property, please close the damper handle
- The kayaks and lake toys are typically not available for winter use during the months of October through March due to the lake freezing over. Please reach out to the guest contact to inquire if they are available.
- During winter months, the private road is plowed, however walk paths are guest responsibility
- No additional guests that are not registered. No additional guests past occupancy limits of 10, with no exceptions. This is Polk County guidelines. No parties, or large gatherings.
- For guest and owner safety, valid ID, registration of vehicles and signed rental agreement will be required prior to check in. If rental agreement is not returned, booking can be cancelled.
- Additional cleaning fees may be enforced if excessive messes are left.
- Evidence of violating the house policies/leaving the property in an unsatisfactory state may result in additional fees.
