The barn is located in the center of the village of Lardiers, with a Provencal restaurant and wine bar within a few minutes walk. The village is between the Montagne de Lur and the Luberon, and is often referred to as the ' Hidden Provence', with it's medieval hill top villages and it's local Provencal markets.

Centrally located in the region of Provence the local area offers many opportunities for walkers and cyclists, plus day trips by car discovering the magnificent countryside.This self-catering accommodation consists of a large family room with French doors that open onto a charming private garden. Consisting of a bedroom with en suite bathroom, modern kitchen, large dining table and comfortable area to relax, also a Utility room with washing machine, spin dryer, iron and board. You will also find plenty to read - Plus TV : British / Netflix, French, German, plus other European Channels. FREE WiFi.

Ideally located, the newly restored lavender barn offers privacy and convenience, just step outside and you are a one-minute walk from the village center with it’s local wine bar & restaurant, also a 4 minute walk from the ancient Chateau. During the summer season the restaurant La Lavande is a great place to enjoy live music and the local cuisine.

The village of Lardiers is close to Banon where there is an excellent bookshop, small supermarket, restaurants, a wine bar, cafés, bakery, butchers and a weekly market. It is the perfect place to unwind and experience French cafe culture.

Within the region, one can sample world-class wines, wander through fields of lavender and sunflowers, shop in open-air markets, enjoy outdoor activities such cycling, swimming, paragliding and hiking, or simply explore the countless medieval villages in the area.

Close by are the towns of Forcalquier, Manosque, Apt and Sisteron with their museums and medieval architecture. From this central Provence location day trips to Avignon, Aix en Provence, Marseille and many other internationally renowned places are within easy reach.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt!
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier! Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist einfach großartig, ein fünfflammiger Gasherd unter anderem. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner und eine Spülmaschine. Das Schlafzimmer und das luxuriöse Bad sind über eine Wendeltreppe in der oberen Etage erreichbar. Trotz hoher Temperaturen, war es in der Wohnung sehr gut auszuhalten. Mike ist ein herzlicher Gastgeber, der uns viele hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung gegeben hat. Direkt gegenüber im Café De Lavande by MoJo kann man gut und günstig essen oder einfach ein Glas Wein trinken. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen
Für alle, die zugleich Ruhe als auch sportliche Aktivität, Kultur und das romantische Leben in einem französischen Dorf suchen, ist dieser Platz genau das Richtige. Die gut ausgebauten Straßen ermöglichen vielfältige Radtouren, sei es zum Kaffeetrinken in das nahegelegene Banon oder für engagierte Radfahrer auch direkt zum Mont Ventoux. Man kann unendliche Wanderungen in den einsamen Hügeln der Umgebung unternehmen oder auch nur einen Abendspaziergang zwischen den betörenden Lavendelfeldern. Wer die Erfrischung in einem See braucht, kann Mike, den wunderbaren Gastgeber, nach den besten Tipps für alle Bedürfnisse fragen. Die Ferienwohnung ist so liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, dass man eigentlich gar nicht wieder nach Hause fahren möchte. Die Städte Banon und besonders Forcalquier bieten besonders in den Sommermonaten wunderschöne Konzerte jeglicher Art an. Das Bistro direkt gegenüber der Ferienwohnung ist vom ersten Moment an ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen – es gibt alles, was der Herz begehrt und das internationale Flair unter Weinranken lässt einen so richtig in Ferienstimmung kommen. Aber man sollte sich auch keinesfalls den Besuch der verschiedenen Wochenmärkte entgehen lassen. Man bekommt so wundervolles Gemüse, Käse, Wurst und noch viel mehr französische Lebensart geboten, woraus sich in der eigenen Küche wunderbare Gerichte zaubern lassen.Und was auch immer man fragen möchte oder braucht – die Gastgeber sind jederzeit hilfsbereit. We stayed with Rosi and Mike for two weeks to go on a racing bike holiday. The area in and around Lardiers is perfect for outdoor activities. Banon and Forcalqiuer can be reached by car within 15 minutes. There are great alleys, cafes, studios, delicatessen shops, book shops etc. Mike gave us very good recommendations. We had great conversations and overall a wonderful time! Cooking in the kitchen also has to be mentioned. Recommendation of us: prepare a delicious meal with fresh ingredients from the Saturday market in Apt. The kitchen of Rosi and Mike well equipped. Thank you very much, Mike and best regards to Rosi. I spent eleven days at Rosi and Mike‘s house, and I had such a wonderful time! The house is lovely decorated in provencal style, the kitchen is very well equipped, and you find everything and more to cook a good dinner and enjoy it at the large dining table with comfy chairs. The bed upstairs is very comfortable with a nice view outside, the shower is really good, but most of all the place is really quiet and tranquil, however not far away from all the good sights to see. The immediate area is very nice for walks, and if you’re into cycling, you‘ll appreciate the quiet roads between lavender fields and the mountains of Luberon and Lure. Most important of all though the hosts are such lovely and kind people. I got so many interesting tips from Mike on where to go and what to do, and he always made sure I had everything I need. I really enjoyed chatting to him. This truly is one of those places that you come to and instantly feel comfortable and at home. I really enjoyed my time there, and I will be back for sure. We verbleven in de lavendelschuur in augustus. Deze was prachtig gerestaureerd en er was alles wat je maar nodig zou kunnen hebben! Alles was zeer netjes! Ook de keuken was heel leuk om in te koken! Heel leuk ingericht! We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Mike die ons zelfs hielp om de bagage uit te laden! We kregen van hem ook vele leuke tips om de buurt te verkennen wat we dan ook gedaan hebben. Het is een perfecte locatie om heel veel mooie dorpjes en prachtige natuur te verkennen. Het is er ook heel rustig en ligt in een hele mooie streek! We genoten ook van de leuke bistro aan de overkant waar we meerdere keren lekker gegeten hebben met hele vriendelijke uitbaters. 1 minpuntje: de vakantie was veel te vlug voorbij! Alex en Brigitte

Gîte spacieux, confortable et avec beaucoup de charme, frais malgré la canicule. Très bon accueil. Environnement calme et reposant, de nombreuses possibilités de balades. Bref, séjour très agréable même si nous avons eu un peu chaud: nous reviendrons à une autre période de l'année.

Notre séjour chez Rosi et Mike a été parfait du debut jusqu à la fin. Ils nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement, ont été très réactif en cas de besoin et discret le reste du temps. La grange de la lavande est tout simplement superbe et décorée avec beaucoup de gout ( cette cuisine formidable !!) le village est à la fois calme et vivant, avec un restaurant très sympa juste en face. C'est aussi un super endroit pour découvrir la région. Nous recommandons vivement, et serions ravis de revenir !

Un accueil chaleureux et attentionné vous attend chez Rosi & Mike Dans un petit village provençal retiré, vous allez loger dans une très jolie maison "Ancienne grange rénovée, et décorée avec beaucoup de goût par leur soin "Campagne chic Provençale " C'est une maison très fonctionnelle ou rien ne manque ! Après une journée de visite sous le soleil de Provence vous allez apprécier la fraîcheur de la pièce à vivre, un petit patio extérieur lui aussi très bien décoré et fleuris pour un petit déjeuner et un dîner à la fraîche ou tout simplement pour un moment détente sur les transats mis à disposition. De chez Rosi & Mike, il y a une multitude de beaux villages provençaux à visiter, des panoramas à vous couper le souffle, sans oublier bien sûr les magnifiques vues sur champs de lavande. C'est l'endroit idéal pour visiter les Alpes de Hautes Provence et passez un bon séjour. N'hésitez pas à réserver chez Rosi & Mike vous ne serez pas déçu.

Rosi und Mike haben aus einer alten Lavendelscheune eine wunderbare Ferienunterkunft geschaffen. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist modern ausgestattet, ebenso die Küche, in der es an nichts fehlt, was man im Urlaub braucht. Der kleine private Innenhof ist mit Blumen und Pflanzen gestaltet und bietet Platz, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, und bei Bedarf geben sie sehr hilfreiche Tipps und Anregungen zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und sonstigen Aktivitäten. Das kleine Dörfchen Lardiers liegt etwas abseits der großen Touristenrouten, ist dafür aber noch frei von Souvenirshops und ähnlichen Einrichtungen. Trotzdem gibt es ein sehr nettes Restaurant im Ort.

I spent eleven days at Rosi and Mike‘s house, and I had such a wonderful time! The house is lovely decorated in provencal style, the kitchen is very well equipped, and you find everything and more to cook a good dinner and enjoy it at the large dining table with comfy chairs. The bed upstairs is very comfortable with a nice view outside, the shower is really good, but most of all the place is really quiet and tranquil, however not far away from all the good sights to see. The immediate area is very nice for walks, and if you’re into cycling, you‘ll appreciate the quiet roads between lavender fields and the mountains of Luberon and Lure. Most important of all though the hosts are such lovely and kind people. I got so many interesting tips from Mike on where to go and what to do, and he always made sure I had everything I need. I really enjoyed chatting to him. This truly is one of those places that you come to and instantly feel comfortable and at home. I really enjoyed my time there, and I will be back for sure. We verbleven in de lavendelschuur in augustus. Deze was prachtig gerestaureerd en er was alles wat je maar nodig zou kunnen hebben! Alles was zeer netjes! Ook de keuken was heel leuk om in te koken! Heel leuk ingericht! We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door Mike die ons zelfs hielp om de bagage uit te laden! We kregen van hem ook vele leuke tips om de buurt te verkennen wat we dan ook gedaan hebben. Het is een perfecte locatie om heel veel mooie dorpjes en prachtige natuur te verkennen. Het is er ook heel rustig en ligt in een hele mooie streek! We genoten ook van de leuke bistro aan de overkant waar we meerdere keren lekker gegeten hebben met hele vriendelijke uitbaters. 1 minpuntje: de vakantie was veel te vlug voorbij! Alex en Brigitte

Très contents de notre séjour.

Gîte spacieux, confortable et avec beaucoup de charme, frais malgré la canicule. Très bon accueil. Environnement calme et reposant, de nombreuses possibilités de balades. Bref, séjour très agréable même si nous avons eu un peu chaud: nous reviendrons à une autre période de l'année.

Notre séjour chez Rosi et Mike a été parfait du debut jusqu à la fin. Ils nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement, ont été très réactif en cas de besoin et discret le reste du temps. La grange de la lavande est tout simplement superbe et décorée avec beaucoup de gout ( cette cuisine formidable !!) le village est à la fois calme et vivant, avec un restaurant très sympa juste en face. C'est aussi un super endroit pour découvrir la région. Nous recommandons vivement, et serions ravis de revenir !

Un accueil chaleureux et attentionné vous attend chez Rosi & Mike Dans un petit village provençal retiré, vous allez loger dans une très jolie maison "Ancienne grange rénovée, et décorée avec beaucoup de goût par leur soin "Campagne chic Provençale " C'est une maison très fonctionnelle ou rien ne manque ! Après une journée de visite sous le soleil de Provence vous allez apprécier la fraîcheur de la pièce à vivre, un petit patio extérieur lui aussi très bien décoré et fleuris pour un petit déjeuner et un dîner à la fraîche ou tout simplement pour un moment détente sur les transats mis à disposition. De chez Rosi & Mike, il y a une multitude de beaux villages provençaux à visiter, des panoramas à vous couper le souffle, sans oublier bien sûr les magnifiques vues sur champs de lavande. C'est l'endroit idéal pour visiter les Alpes de Hautes Provence et passez un bon séjour. N'hésitez pas à réserver chez Rosi & Mike vous ne serez pas déçu.

Rosi und Mike haben aus einer alten Lavendelscheune eine wunderbare Ferienunterkunft geschaffen. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist modern ausgestattet, ebenso die Küche, in der es an nichts fehlt, was man im Urlaub braucht. Der kleine private Innenhof ist mit Blumen und Pflanzen gestaltet und bietet Platz, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, und bei Bedarf geben sie sehr hilfreiche Tipps und Anregungen zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und sonstigen Aktivitäten. Das kleine Dörfchen Lardiers liegt etwas abseits der großen Touristenrouten, ist dafür aber noch frei von Souvenirshops und ähnlichen Einrichtungen. Trotzdem gibt es ein sehr nettes Restaurant im Ort.
