28 km north-west of Pieksämäki, lake Ahveninen 30 m (length 11 km, width 1 km) deep, hard sand bottom, 2 piers and 2 boats.

Log chalet 2007, expanded 2010, kitchen-living room, bedroom (8 m²) with double bed, alcove (curtain door, 5 m²) with double bed (width 140 cm), lobby/utility room sofa bed for two, wood-heated sauna, shower room with toilet, covered terrace of 22 m², open terrace of 25 m².
Air source heat pump (with cooling function). Ceramic hob and separate electric oven. A wood burning stove is not in use.

Wi-fi enabled. A work desk, 2 chairs and desk lamp available on prior request. Please mention this when booking and the owner puts it ready.

For alternative summer use only: A sleeping outbuilding 2010 (10 m²) with double bed, electric light and heating. Maximum amount of persons in the place is 6 persons.

Woodshed, storage, garbage shed, outdoor toilet (also an indoor toilet in the cottage). Warehouses and garage are only for the owners own use.

Summer kitchen with fish smoking box. Grill kitchen with wood-burning stove and water faucet (hot and cold water), electric light, grill/dining canopy, electric stove, microwave oven, fridge and wood/
charcoal grill.
A boathouse and fish cleaning place.

Smoke sauna for a extra price (running cold water from a well). Heating of the smoke sauna must be agreed separately with owner. The smoke sauna is a great experience that we can warmly recommend.


A beautiful, diverse complex on the southern shore of Lake Ahveninen, where the day and evening sun shines. The warm and bright log villa is located on a hillside and is surrounded by a cozy, large courtyard area, a lawn area on the beach. Perch is a fishy lake, e.g. pike-perch, pike and perch.
The nearest neighboring cottage is rarely used and the next neighbor is 800 meters away.

In the living room there is a low loft, which children often consider a nice playground.

The key holder is expecting you to collect the key between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the day of arrival, unless otherwise mentioned in your travel documents. Payment Policy
There are two ways to pay for your booking:

1. Credit card (VISA or Mastercard)
2. Invoice

For bookings within 14 days prior to arrival only credit cards are accepted.

A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.

The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.

What happens to my breakage deposit?

The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your booking by phone, post or eMail. Your cancellation comes into effect on the date of receipt of your notification.

If you withdraw from the contract, we will invoice you the following cancellation charges:

A) up to 43 days before the start of the rental period: 10% of the rental
B) 42 to 29 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental
C) 28 to 2 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental
D) 1 day before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental
