Welcome to Kihei Hale O Maluhia in Maui, our newly decorated, clean and freshly renovated tropical home! Located directly across from Kihei’s most popular beaches, Kamaole I, II and III. Kihei Akahi complex is one of South Mauis MOST popular beach resorts.
Our condo is Hotel Zoned. We are NOT on the Minatoya List (The Mayor of Maui has announced plans to phase out the permissions granted by the Minatoya List, which would mean that these units would transition to other uses at any given time, possibly with short notice. Rest assured, our condo complex is zoned for Hotel use and this rule does NOT apply to us)
It’s a short walk to restaurants, pubs and shops. Our kitchen is outfitted for a chef with stainless appliances, cookware, spices, sharp knives, food processor and more. The bedroom suite offers a queen sized memory foam topped mattress.
Laminate floors add a richness and warmth to the island style decor. The convenience of en suite washer and dryer means you can pack light! We offer one of only a handful of walk-out ground floor lanais. It’s steps to the pool and you are surrounded in tropical island gardens.
Modern conveniences abound with full cable, Smart TV, USB charging stations, keyless lock and more. We are pleased to offer our guests the highest available WIFI and free calls to the Mainland, Canada. A full suite of beach gear is provided. Our condo property boasts two pools and tennis and pickleball courts. Lush manicured gardens provide a tranquil experience!

Our vacation rental is suitable for older, respectful and well behaved children. Guest agrees to supervise children at all times while using the Property, and to take necessary precautions with children who may wet their beds including utilizing plastic protection sheets or "Pull Ups". Costs to replace mattresses or linens damaged by bed wetting will be charged to the credit card on file.
Our vacation rental is NOT child-proofed for safety.

This is a Non-Smoking/Tobacco-free Condo: This is a non-smoking, tobacco-free unit, this includes cigarettes, pipes, cigars, cannabis (in any form), vaping materials, cigarettes, e-cigarettes or chewing tobacco. There are NO exceptions. Violators caught (or if our housekeeping staff determine that this policy has been broken) will be assessed a minimum $500 cleaning/deodorizing fee, forfeiture of Damage Deposit and are subject to immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund and agree to immediately leave the property upon demand or be subject to criminal trespass charges. Additionally, there is no smoking/chewing or use of tobacco products on the Lanai. Smoking is prohibited in/on elevators, hallways, stairways and walkways, and pool areas or within 50 feet of any building. A smoking bench is located on the far left of the upper parking lot (and there are two other smoking benches located on the property.)
No Parking
Free parking is provided for one vehicle. Additional vehicles may park for a nominal fee to be paid to the managing office upon check-in.
Wheelchair Accessible
Our ground floor condo is suitable for guests with limited mobility. While a standard wheel chair will fit, we are not ADA compliant.

MAXIMUM of 2 people including infants and children. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We have a Keyless lock system. You may choose your 4-digit PIN number. Your code is valid from 3pm on the date of your arrival and expires at 11am on the day of your departure.
Early or late check-in/check-out may be available and may be at an additional fee and ONLY when pre-arraigned with owner.

Payment Policy
Payment Terms: 50% of your total balance is due at the time of booking (the deposit). The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival.Reservations not paid in full within 60 days of arrival are subject to cancellation. Refunds, if any, will be made in accordance with the Cancellation Policy below. Reservations with less than 60 days until arrival are due in full at the time of booking. Failure to submit payments on time may result in cancellation of reservation without refund or recourse.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Security Deposit: A refundable $350.00 Security Deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be refundable within 14 days of departure, after review of Kihei Hale O Maluhia Condo inventory, any damages incurred, excessive cleaning needed, pay-per-view cable TV charges, and/or any long distance phone usage outside of free call coverage areas (32 countries), confirmation that no damage or expenses were incurred, Kihei Hale O Maluhia will mail you a refund in the form of a business check.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation, Changes and Refund Policy: ALL Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay made more than 60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to ONE night’s rent + tax and NO REFUNDS will be issued 60 days or less prior to arrival unless we are able to re-book your canceled dates with other guests. If we can re-book your canceled dates, a prorated refund will be made less 25% rebooking fee. 100% of Cleaning fee and Security deposit will be refunded in the event of a cancellation. No Shows and Early Departures are subject to full forfeiture of nightly rate and cleaning fees. Owner is not responsible for electricity, water, cable or telephone outages due to natural causes/storms or causes outside of our control. No refunds will be given for outages caused by weather, natural causes or any other reason. Any change of dates subsequent to execution of this rental agreement is subject to Owner approval and may incur change fees.
Monthly Reservation & Christmas/New Year Holiday Season (December 15-January 7) Cancellations: Monthly and Christmas/New Year Holiday season renters must cancel ninety (90) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. We strongly suggest purchasing trip interruption/cancellation insurance.
Storm Cancellation and Refund: A Reservation Agreement is not invalidated by inclement weather or ruined expectations because of weather conditions or acts of God. If a mandatory evacuation order is issued by the State of Hawaii, we will refund; A) any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; B) any unused portion of rental fees from a guest that is scheduled to arrive while the mandatory evacuation is in place.
